Shop FAQ

No matter what page you're on in our website, there are always three easy ways to find exactly what you're looking for. Every page gives you the option to enter a Search, to Shop, or to access our Site Map. To search for a specific item, type either the item name, keywords that describe the item, the catalog number, or the item SKU number into the Search field on the upper right hand section of every page. You can also browse for an item by selecting one of the categories on the top of every page(i.e. eat, sleep, etc). Or you can click on the Site Map appearing at the bottom section of every page. A list of Categories to choose from will appear to assist you in locating the item you're interested in.

You can type in the exact name or catalog number of the item into the Search field appearing in the upper right hand section on every page of our website.

It's easy. First click on the product image or product name to view the item details. To add an item to your order, enter the quantity you wish to purchase into the Quantity box and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Add to Cart button. When you are ready to checkout, you can click on Cart to view the entire contents of your cart. A Checkout button at the bottom of the page will take you to a Sign In page. Here you can Sign In if you already have an account with us, or you can continue shopping As A Guest. When you have made your Sign In choice, you will complete a series of forms with your billing, shipping and payment information. Upon completing these forms, just click Place Order and you're all Checked Out. A confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction. You may choose to print this for your records. An email version of this summary will be sent promptly. Why this is safe. You can also place your order by calling us at 800.606.6252.

All of the merchandise that you can find in our stores is available for purchase online, subject to availability. Just go to Shop and choose from the category you wish to view. All merchandise prices displayed on our website are current and take precedence over any previously published prices.

All current CB2 merchandise may be purchased in our stores, of course pending availability. While you can purchase most items and take them home with you for immediate gratification, some things like furniture, lighting, rugs and other large items are available for delivery only. Our store associates will arrange for delivery in the most economical way possible from the warehouse closest to your home.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase upon arrival, please notify us immediately and we will attempt to correct the situation.

Taxes are calculated for each shipping address total based on the state to which the item(s) is shipped.

We will add all applicable taxes to items shipped to AL*, AZ*, CA*, CO*, CT*, DC*, FL*, GA*, IL*, IN*, KS*, MA, MD*, ME*, MI*, MN*, MO*, NC*, NJ*, NY*, OH*, PA*, RI*, SD*, TX*, UT, VA*, WA*, WI*, and WY.

Where and when applicable, we collect sales tax on shipping and handling in states marked with an *.

Purchasers in some states may be responsible for reporting and paying applicable sales and/or use tax to their state.

At CB2, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We will do our best to make things right if you are not satisfied.

non-furniture items We will accept returns and exchanges of non-furniture items if they are returned within 90 days of customer receipt, a valid proof of purchase is provided, and items are returned in good condition (unused and unwashed).

stock furniture, rugs and rug pads If you are not satisfied with your Stock furniture, rug or rug pad purchase, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery or pickup to arrange a return. The item must be returned within 30 days of delivery or pickup. The item will be inspected upon return, and a refund amount will be determined based on its condition. For furniture orders placed online, please call us at 800.606.6252. For orders placed through a store, please contact the store where the sale originated.

special order upholstery We require a 50% deposit for all Special Order upholstery. This deposit is nonrefundable after a 72-hour change/cancellation window. These items are made to your specifications and cannot be returned or exchanged.

You can check for a message about assembly in your cart or throughout checkout. Items with no message do not require assembly. Items with the message, “Assembled for delivery to ZIP code…” will be assembled by one of our In-Home Delivery specialists. Any other messages indicate customer assembly.

You will be issued a $10 reward certificate for every $200 spent with your Crate and Barrel Credit Card** at or through US Crate and Barrel, CB2 or The Land of Nod stores, catalogs (phone, fax or mail), websites, mobile sites or applications. Rewards are calculated on all of your Crate and Barrel Credit Card merchandise purchases (net of returns, cancellations, discounts, taxes and credits) made at or through Crate and Barrel Brand stores, catalogs (phone, fax or mail), websites, mobile sites or applications. Activity is detailed on your monthly billing statement.

Rewards will be calculated and issued monthly via your monthly billing statement. Rewards certificates must be used within 90 days of the date of issuance. Net purchases less than $200 in a month will carryover from month to month until the $200 threshold is reached. Rewards Certificates are only redeemable for merchandise at or through US Crate and Barrel, CB2 or The Land of Nod brand catalogues, stores, websites, mobile sites and applications. If a store, call center, website, mobile site or application is temporarily unable to process Rewards Certifcates please call Crate and Barrel Customer Service at (800) 967-6696. New websites, mobile sites and applications may not have the ability to process Rewards Certificates immediately upon launch.

Certificates cannot be credited to an account, redeemed for cash, applied to past purchases, applied to taxes or used to purchase Gift Cards.

If the purchase total is more than the value of the certificate, the difference must be applied to the Crate and Barrel Credit Card which is subject to credit approval.

If the purchase total is less than the value of the certificate, the difference cannot be credited to any account or redeemed for cash/merchandise credit. In the stores, certificates will be tendered as a promotional tender and must be surrendered at the time of purchase.

When redeeming online or through the catalog, use the Code printed on the certificate. For online purchases, at checkout enter the Code in the “Promos/Rewards” entry box. All refunds of merchandise purchased with a rewards certificate will be refunded to a Shop Card. No additional certificates will be issued after program termination. Lost or stolen certificates will not be replaced. Certificates may not be sold or otherwise bartered or transferred. Crate and Barrel may change or cancel the Rewards Program, or any part of it, at any time, including expiring outstanding rewards certificates or expiring accrued purchases. Changes to the program will be posted at crateandbarrel.com.

This is separate and apart from any communication preferences you may have with the issuing bank (Comenity Bank).

If you would prefer not to receive our communications by email, you are welcome to opt out and will have an opportunity to do so both in the “Benefits” and “Welcome” email you receive from us as well as in all subsequent emails.
