How do I find a specific registry?

You can search for a registry under the registrant's last name. Your search will go faster if you also have the registrant's first name and date of event. Please note that some registrants prefer not to post their registry online. If you are unsuccessful in locating your registrant online, you can obtain a copy of a current registry by fax or mail. You can also access all registries in our Chicago CB2 stores. Or call us at (800) 606-6252, 24 hours a day.

What should I do if the registrant has received everything?

Most of our registrants indicate on their registries that they'd also like CB2 Gift Cards. Just look for a link at the bottom of their registry and see if this preference has been indicated. If you purchase a gift that's not on the registry, you'll need to provide us with the registrant's shipping address. If you don't have access to the address, call us at (800) 606-6252, 24 hours a day, and we will retrieve it from our files for you.

When will the registrant receive my gift?

In-stock items should arrive to the registrant's address via Standard Delivery in 3–5 business days (M-F). View delivery options and rates.

Will my gift be wrapped?

CB2 gift purchases arrive in one of our shipping boxes with colorful gift tissue and a personalized gift message at no extra charge when you include a gift message at Checkout. As a courtesy, any item(s) selected including a gift message will not have prices displayed on the product or on the packing slip.

Can I purchase a gift item online that is currently on backorder online?

Should certain items become more in demand, we will do everything humanly possible to get your gift order to the recipient, asap. If it's convenient, don't forget to check our CB2 stores directly to see if they have the item in stock.

Can you tell me the availability of a specific item?

When you are choosing your gifts, an item availability message will appear on the product detail page. A quick glossary:

Can I create and edit my gift registry online?

Yes, you can both start your registry and update it 24 hours a day at cb2.com. Updates and changes made online or in CB2 stores will be posted within fifteen minutes.

Can my guests view my gift registry online?

Yes. Friends and family can access your registry online at cb2.com, at our CB2 store kiosks or by calling us 24 hours a day at (800) 606-6252.

Does my registry show gift purchases?

Yes. All purchases or status changes made to your registry at cb2.com will be updated immediately. All purchases or status changes made to your registry in our CB2 stores or by calling (800) 606-6252 will go live online and in stores within fifteen minutes.

How soon will I receive my gifts?

All in-stock items, including furniture, are available for immediate shipping. Standard Delivery items (accessories and small furniture) arrive at your address in 3-7 business days. Larger boxed items are shipped via Basic Freight and are delivered to your door in approximately 7-10 business days. Furniture items delivered via Local In-Home Furniture Delivery usually arrive in 7-14 business days; Long Distance In-Home Furniture Delivery furniture items usually arrive in 2–4 weeks.

What is your return policy?

At CB2, we stand behind the quality of our products and will make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase. Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but in the event you are not satisfied with your purchase simply follow the instructions below.

CB2 will accept merchandise returns for Standard Delivery items within 90 days of receipt and will issue a credit or refund at the time of return in the following ways:

  • Original Gift Receipt will be refunded via a Shop Card.
  • Original Sales Receipt or Packing Slip will be refunded in the Original Form of Tender.
  • If you do not have a receipt, an associate will work with you on return options.

Please note: Shop Cards and Gift Cards are valid only for CB2 purchases and are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or a cash equivalent, except as required by applicable law. We appreciate your understanding that CB2 non-furniture merchandise may be returned in person to a CB2 store or by mail. Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected. Credits and refunds issued for items value. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.

To return an item by mail, follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed in your order, insure the package, and mail it to the CB2 address on your packing slip. If you do not have a packing slip, please call us at 800.606.6252. To return Basic Freight or In-Home Delivery items, please call us at 800.606.6252 or contact the store where the original purchase was made within 7 days of delivery; we will accept returns within 90 days of delivery. Please follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed in your order. If an order is canceled, a refund will be issued in the original form of tender.

furniture return/exchange policy

At CB2, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. Attention to detail in design, materials and construction is always forefront. Every item in our collection is carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse. We encourage you to do the same upon receipt of your purchase. In the event that damage occurs in transit, or if you discover any defect in manufacture, please contact us at 800.606.6252 within 7 days of delivery; we will accept returns within 90 days of delivery. Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected. Exchanges, credits and refunds issued will be for the item purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping charges are nonrefundable, and return shipping fees may apply. In certain circumstances, a usage or restocking fee may apply. If an order is canceled, a refund will be issued in the original form of tender. If you have received damaged or defective merchandise, please call Customer Service at 800.606.6252.

Sorry, CB2 products cannot be returned to Crate and Barrel stores.

How long will my registry be posted after my event?

Your registry will remain active for eighteen months after your event date. If you need to access it after that, call us at 800.606.6252 24 hours a day. Just give us your name, co-registrant's name (if applicable), registry number (if available), and date of event.

What if I get duplicates of a gift?

While our system updates your registry within 15 minutes not immediately, the occasional duplicate purchase may occur. If this happens we will gladly allow return or exchange of the gift. Some reasons you might receive duplicates:

  • Online purchases may be indicated on your registry more quickly than a store or call center purchase - sometimes just by minutes.
  • A guest may not have requested an updated copy of your registry.
  • After making a purchase, a guest may decide to give a different gift without notifying us.

What is the "share my registry" feature?

"share my registry" is an email feature that allows cb2.com registrants to notify friends and family of their upcoming event. If you opt to participate, you'll provide us with an email list of recipients who will receive our pre-written event message. This email includes a convenient link to take recipients directly to your registry.

Can I register for CB2 Gift Cards?

Absolutely. Just indicate on your registry that you'd like to receive Gift Cards. Many guests would like to give Gift Cards, but would feel more comfortable doing so if they knew it was an option you had requested. Gift Cards are also a good backup to have in case your registry reaches completion, and a guest isn't sure what you'd like.
