Originally created in the late 1950s, Gianfranco Frattini's 880 lounge chair is a marvel of Italian midcentury design. Reintroduced for a new generation and crafted with solid oak certified sustainable by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC), this iconic piece retains the spirit and specifications of the original. Slim, tight upholstery emphasizes the luxurious texture of two-tone wool-blend boucle, with black flecks peeking through raised ivory yarns for a well-tailored look. Despite the almost spartan simplicity of the chair's silhouette, it is remarkable for its intricate joinery, solid oak legs in satin black and innovative floating seat design—enduring details that place comfort and style in equally high esteem.
