The Casa Dean Collection: Modern Architecture Meets Artful Living
Designed in collaboration with award-winning music producer and cultural icon Kasseem Dean (a.k.a. Swizz Beatz), the Casa Dean collection brings the sculptural energy and warm, lived-in luxury of his iconic La Jolla residence directly into your home. Blending the graphic strength of Brutalist architecture with rich natural textures, Brazilian modernism, and high-spec functionality, this exclusive line of modern living room furniture redefines modern entertaining. Co-created alongside Evan Jerry of Studio ANANSI and the CB2 design team, each piece balances statement-making architectural forms with an inviting, everyday comfort—proving you don't have to live in a museum to surround yourself with art.
Architectural Furniture, Sculptural Seating & Burl-Wood Casegoods
At the core of the collection are sculptural silhouettes and high-touch materials crafted to transform your layout. Anchor your living space with the modular Baza sectional clad in ivory velvet, or make a bold statement with the Brainstorm accent chair—a nod to vintage automotive design and Brazilian modernism featuring channel-tufted caramel suede or olive leather nestled in a boxy wood frame. For media and display, rich tamboured burl-wood fronts and dimpled dark brown resin surfaces define elevated storage pieces like the Lana console and statement credenzas and bar cabinets. Pair these anchor pieces with organic cast resin coffee tables and low-slung ottomans to create a seamless balance of form and utility.
Entertainment & Art-Infused Home Decor
Rooted in Dean's early years as a DJ in the South Bronx, the collection features personal entertainment showpieces like the Lam-Louie DJ console. Crafted with tamboured burl wood, deep green leather, a tubular stainless-steel frame, and hidden turntable storage on locking casters, it seamlessly transitions your space from everyday lounge to party venue. Complete your space with high-impact accents, including smoked glassware, alabaster vessels, linen lighting pendants, New Zealand wool area rugs, and exclusive artwork by California painter Megan Gabrielle Harris.
