Drawn to the decorative nature of her home country’s flora and fauna, Australian designer Silvana Azzi Heras has garnered acclaim for her stunning interpretations of that which surrounds her. Print, color, texture—she melds it all to embody both a vintage flair and modern edge.

Having spent 17 years in film and theatre, Silvana looks at design through a cinematic lens to create visually stunning pieces that tell a story. Her work bridges the gap between historical decorative arts and modern design, featuring highly intricate patterns, rich textiles and a bold embrace of color synonymous with the Arts and Crafts Movement and vibrant palettes of the 1970s.
