MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
Seemingly endless ideation flows from Australia-based designer Ceci Thompson—a creative process she’s been honing since studying under some of the industry’s most renowned furniture designers. Her work is driven by a love of problem-solving and a passion for discovery and creation.
“I always strive to find the most pure and refined version of an idea. My work is ever-evolving—even I don’t know what’s coming next.”
AN ENDLESS DESIGN CURIOSITY
From generously proportioned, clean-lined seating to architectural tables in rich materials, Thompson’s work reflects a deep sense of exploration. Transforming simple concepts into elegant and purposeful designs, her pieces strike a balance between functionality and artistic expression.
“I'm forever inspired by materials and forms that I see in architecture and interior design, especially the work that's being done in Australia right now.”
