Working with acrylic, Ksenia Sizaya balances geometric forms with the natural world in "Broadlei." "Flying over farmland after the first snow, I was surprised to see the snow didn't cover uniformly," the artist explains. "It seemed to pick and choose what to cover." CB2 exclusive.

Ksenia Sizaya is a Montreal-based artist who was trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, and completed her master's degree in graphic art. Sizaya says her art is influenced by abstract expressionism and modernism. "I've always been a creative person, even as a small child. Design and art have always been a major part of my life." The artist is inspired by city life imagery and the outdoors.
