'Nuvole' Framed Wall Art 36"X48"

In Ruby's "Nuvole," expressive brushstrokes loop around the composition in a tonal palette of black and white. The work highlights the unpredictability of working with acrylic and ink. "It's a fun process to play with the flow of the colored water, shifting the canvas to different sides and allowing the colors to flow around," the artist explains. Reminiscent of clouds, translucent layers of ink create flowing movement, inviting the eye to wander across the canvas. CB2 exclusive.

Ruby is a Montreal-based artist inspired by her surroundings and how she feels while painting. Informed by the styles of Russian avant-garde and abstract expressionism, Ruby works primarily in acrylics and collage as she plays with movement and balance in her compositions.
