Vary your floor decor with our collection of viscose rugs at CB2. What is viscose? Viscose is a material used to make rayon, which is a textile sometimes used to imitate the look and feel of silk, wool and cotton. What makes viscose special is its ability to absorb dyes into its fibers. The material, when colored, is known for its chic sheen, making it a must-have for intricately patterned and brightly-hued rug styles. For solid rugs with depth and texture to them, look for wool- or cotton-viscose blends. The high-low tonal sheen allows hand-knotters to create unique patterns within the weaving. In the living room or bedroom, complement existing colors in the space? Perhaps a tone from a wall print or the shade of an accent wall?with a viscose rug. Remember to measure your space before shopping for an area mat. In the living room, rugs can be arranged under all furniture legs, under front legs only or under no furniture legs at all, just the coffee table. In the bedroom, floor coverings should be arranged under the foot of the bed but should stop before reaching the front legs (i.e. not extend under the nightstands).
