Exploring the art of ASMR, artist Amber Fey's "Skim I" is meant to evoke a feeling of tingly euphoria. "Akin to swiping your finger through icing on a cake or walking through fresh snow," she explains. Original work was created by slowly pulling a palette knife through putty. Reproduced here using the artist's original techniques. Hangs in two orientations.
Amber Fey is a Montreal-based artist who uses photography and graphic design to "find elegance in the ordinary." She describes her work as having "many stylistic quirks, depicted with simple shapes and compositions."
