Inspired by Irish quilt patterns, Amber Fey's "Motley" series is a modern illustration of a traditional art form. "I wanted to recreate a traditional quilt pattern with a twist using modern colors," explains the artist. CB2 exclusive.
Amber Fey is a Montreal-based artist who uses photography and graphic design to "find elegance in the ordinary." She describes her work as having "many stylistic quirks, depicted with simple shapes and compositions."
