§The Outdoor Double Rewards Event

The finishing touch of any bathroom, master guest or bed-and-breakfast, are the linens on display. Modern hand towels from CB2, with their plush, spa-suited softness, balance honed marble countertops, shiny chrome faucets and gleaming tile floors. Cloths can be laid directly on the vanity—either or both sides of the sink—or hung from the wall-installed hook or towel ring. Alternatively, you can arrange on a multi-towel standing rack on the floor, once again to either side of the countertop. What about color? White, off-white, light grey and black are all classic hand towel hues. If your neutral bathroom needs a hit of color, go bold and choose turquoise or amber cloths. If your shower has a patterned shower curtain, consider playing off those colors. Don’t forget to pick up some spares—stow them away in the closet or bath towel and bring out for houseguests.
