In "Mavericks II," artist Amber Fey explores the idea of waves as an impermeant shape created by the wind skimming across the water. "As homage to this, I wanted to use negative space to create the illusion of a wave," explains the artist. She captures these characteristics using black ink and a steady hand. CB2 exclusive.
