Designed by Studio Anansi, "Matadouro" reinterprets the iconic black surfboard in sculpture through an unconventional material. Natural pine wood is wire-brushed to highlight wood grain, then given a blackened finish for an organic yet streamlined look. Deceptively simple at first glance, this artistic homage to surfing is a creative meditation on shape and form.
