This plush throw pillow, originally designed by California creative duo Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman in 1966 as a handwoven tapestry, has been reimagined with neutral colors and a sleek black base. The luxurious silk/cotton blend lends a soft and elevated feel, while the delicate weave adds beautiful texture. With a solid black cotton back and a hidden zipper, this neutral throw pillow exemplifies the Ackermans' timeless point of view. CB2 pillows include a pillow insert in your choice of feather down or down alternative. CB2 exclusive.
Detroit natives Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman founded ERA Industries in 1956. For 50 years, the Los Angeles-based couple played a central role in shaping the California midcentury modern movement. The Ackermans' first woven tapestry was featured on the cover of the Los Angeles Times Home Magazine in 1957. Presented in collaboration with Ackerman Modern, the pieces in this collection recreate the couple's iconic midcentury designs using original drawings and archival photographs.
