Created to reflect the simple, natural movements in water, light and fog, "Ikigai I" is part of a series characterized by a sense of meditative harmony. "My inspiration for this painting was to create peace through personal reflection. The Japanese concept 'Ikigai' refers to the personal satisfaction that comes from finding meaning and purpose," explains artist Lune. Created using rough black sand texture and black paint to organically combine and create a hazy atmospheric quality. Reproduced here using the artist's original techniques.
