Artist Edward View's painting was inspired by a bird's-eye view of American farmland. "When I'm bored, I like to look at satellite pictures online and I'm always drawn to agriculture and crop lines," explains the artist. This unique graphic pattern was created by using a custom-made comb to scrape away thick layers of gesso from a dark background to reveal crisp grey lines.
Montreal-based artist who draws on architecture, infrastructure and the cities in which he lives to create his modern art. "I enjoy exploring new mediums and taking geometry and iconography from one medium and moving them to another."
