Petite alabaster table lamp by NYC-based designer
Farrah Sit elegantly showcases a juxtaposition of geometric forms and honest, grounded materials. Polished alabaster is carved into a vintage-inspired dome shade, providing a crisp counterpoint to the triangular base. "I wanted to work with a single block of stone to translate a simplicity that is felt," Sit explains. "Material is removed in a geometric way to resemble the functionality of a lamp on one side, preserving a largely untouched side to emphasize the monolith presence of the stone." CB2 exclusive.
