"Elva V" is part of a series celebrating the power of 1, the number of originality and independence. "Some believe the number 1, when repeated in sequence, is linked to spirituality and awakening," says the artist. "I really love how primitive the pattern is, almost like a subconscious message." Steven Sabados is a Toronto-based artist who draws on layers of emotion, personal reflection and unique artisanal techniques to create his meditative works.
