Captivated by nostalgia, Ryan Pfluger is a photographer and artist whose work often recreates memories, memorializes objects, and explores how sexuality and gender influence image making. Exploring what portraiture means presently in our culture, his photographs deal with the subtlety of body posture and the role of self-portraiture. Ryan is based in Los Angeles.
