The perfect balance of Janet Taylor's "Cold Wave Graphic" speaks to that moment of internal calm, when you set ego aside and empathize with another. "I think the art of being is the art of engaging positively with the world. If we try to be fully immersed in our physical spaces, and fully involved with the people and events we are part of, we can draw the most from our individual experience and make our best contributions." Janet Taylor is a Nova Scotia-based artist obsessed with those extraordinary moments that surface within the mundane. A fragment of murmured harmony as you brush through a grassy field, a blink of joining pattern in branches overhead––she aims to capture those fleeting glimpses of the energy and connection of our world through her art.
