Where was your favorite place to live?
Friuli Venezia Giulia is a region in the north east of Italy. It is here that I love living, in this spectacular landscape of plains, hills, mountains, lakes, beaches, sea and castles. Here where different museums, cultures and languages meet.

What’s your favorite room in your home?
Living room and Kitchen. You can enjoy relaxing in the joy of being at home, in good company with friends, chatting and joking with a good glass of wine and nice local food.

What are your sources of inspiration?
All that my eyes can pick up. The country where I live is a melting pot of history, culture and universal architecture. Curiosity has always been a prerogative of my life; traveling and exploring new territories has opened my mind and continues to do this every day.

Form vs. function?
The function is the basis: in a good sitting project ergonomics must be the first consideration. If the external form of the session develops in symbiosis with what the function must be, then it can become a masterpiece of design.

What is your personal decorating style?
I like to explore the world of interiors. I do not have special preferences for a styles, a material and a decoration. I like to interpret my style, putting my talent in any stylistic direction.

What’s your favorite possession?
An aluminum casting sculpture in my garden, a gift from a friend, a great Italian artist, Maestro Giorgio Celiberti.

Do you have one low budget decorating tip?
Furnishing with a low budget does not mean giving up quality and design. My advice is to never lose your personality, taking into account that if we think of a simple furniture, it will be easier to characterize it and change it when we get tired of it, without compromising the base.

What’s the best career advice you ever received? Ever gave?
Never stop!

The best designed item of all time?
“The one that has yet to be born, as it will still improve the previous products, using new materials and acquiring new innovative experiences.”

Veronica

Where was your favorite place to live?
In the green, by the sea.

What’s your favorite room in your home?
Living room with huge windows, where the outside can become part of the inside.

What are your sources of inspiration?
My eyes, my life, my surroundings.

What do you drive?
I’m searching my new car. Certainly it will be an hybrid one. We have to take care about our world!

What one item do you wish you owned?
The key to understand every personal mood.

What are your interests outside of design?
I love sports and open air culture. Sports and dance help humans to be open minded and completely restorative.

Who are you design icons?
I feel Ross Lovegrove has changed the vision of what design can reach. His liquid forms increase the value of technology.
Renzo Piano has given poetic to architecture: his vision of light in buildings gives a special touch to every project.

Form vs. function?
Form should always be at the service of the function. In my vision, a fat free design that values material and use, is the right answer.

What is your personal decorating style?
I love clean and functional spaces where colours and special pieces can be added. The difference can be made by a “special touch”, a “allure” that the designer or architect can give to every space.

Do you have one low budget decorating tip?
Try to find the best quality even in low budget. Try to find the best “wedding” between your personal style of decorator and the special needs and request of your customer: we are all humans!

What’s the best career advice you ever received? Ever gave?
Never lose the curiosity to see what’s behind. Travels and journeys open your mind and increase you opportunity of knowledge.
