Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful teapot This review is mostly geared toward online purchasers, as the fact that the teapot is porcelain covered in silicone might be a little confusing.  If it helps, you can think of the silicone as a glaze (in fact, you can see minute sections of the teapot where the spray did not fully cover the white porcelain; note that this is not a negative, as the spots are not really noticeable; they are mostly in the corners).  However, contrary to what you might imagine about a silicone-covered item, it doesn't feel rubbery.  It, in fact, is very smooth, almost like running your hand over velvet. As far as stains are concerned, I would be cautious about leaving this in a sink full of dirty dishes, as some of the floor samples we looked at had small scuffs, scratches, and stains.  And once blemished, it doesn't appear that the silicone will clean easily or ever go back to being pristine unless it is sprayed again with silicone.  That being said, if you plan on using them for display as a trio (yellow, blue, orange), like we are, this should not be a problem.  If you do plan you serve tea in it, as mentioned in the product description, it is fully dishwasher safe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the teapot, shape, color and the touch of it BUT every time I pour the tea it drips really badly. Perhaps it will just be for decoration as I love it but really disappointed in the dripping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun pop of color! I bought the yellow teapot and I love it. Traditional shape with a fun modern color. It adds the perfect pop of color in my kitchen. It's a bit on the small side so I use it more for decorative purposes than function. But such a great purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I only used the blue teapot a few times before I noticed the blue silicone staining from my green tea. I liked to keep it and a teacup next to me on a tray while I read, so I could enjoy multiple cups. Obviously I didn't rinse fast enough. I still love the teacups, I just race to the sink and rinse the silicone saucer so it won't stain too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastically fun! I bought this for myself, and I adore it! This bright orange is one of my favorite colors and I like the modern take on the classic form. Also, it's just fun to touch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brighten your kitchen with these teapots! This was love at first sight. However, at first I just bought the small mint teapot. As soon as I got it, I knew it didn't make any sense not to buy the whole set. These teapots are just beautiful, the size is perfect, each one for a different purpose: the mint for a day of work at your desk, the yellow for friends, and the orange-red for the whole family. The silicone material makes them safer and it's easy to clean. I decided to display them on a wall shelf to decorate my kitchen. The price is also quite good compared with other fancy teapots in the market.Bottom-line: They're the perfect combination of function and beauty; this is what design is all about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gift! We bought 2 in the San Francisco store. 1 for us and 1 for my mother as a gift. The color and quality are very attractive selling points and the silicone finish is great for cleaning and keeping beverages warm. I plan on buying the other teapots in the collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more burned fingers! Not only are these tea pots wonderfully funky, but the silicone coating helps protect your fingers when you pour. The built in filter system also keeps lees out of your cup!
