Too much assembly required!
I was tempted to return this item when I opened the box and discovered assembly was required. There were 40 bolts required to assemble the 5 shelves and the bolts are not easy to tighten. This definitely takes 2 adults to put together. It took us an hour and our fingers were sore from the bolts. Overall, the look is contemporary and exactly what I was looking for. The shelves are also deep so you can use both sides. However, one should contemplate how much time they want to allot for assembly before buying!

Nice bookcase
Bought this for my teen son's room and it works great for books, school supply storage and such. Easy to put together and I did it by myself, although would have been easier with two as recommended in the instructions. Looks great with a little loft/industrial look. It has wheels on the bottom which make for a nice look, but I don't think it is really strong enough to move around when it is full. Happy with this look and function. Paired it with the Helix desk and my son does his homework with ease at his desk with extra storage close by.

Sturdy + Stylish
This is a great shelving unit that can hold heavy items without looking too masculine, and it easily blends in with many types of decor. And the best part is, it is on wheels!

Awesome Addition to my Kitchen!
I bought this bookcase to use in my bedroom but ended up putting it in the kitchen. It is perfect! I put my microwave on it, a stand mixer, heavy pot, cookbooks and bowls.
It is very sturdy if you follow the directions when putting it together...make sure you dont tighten the screws completely until they are all in!

Multi-purposfull!!!!!
So I have used these in my kitchen for pretty dishes, in my laundry room as my pantry, in my bedroom for my folded clothes, in my bathroom as extra storage for towels, in my boys room as their media tower and in my living room as a bookcase. As you can tell I love furniture that is modular and can be used for anything and everything. And it is on casters as well which makes it easy to move around. Also as a side note it comes completely apart if you need to move or store with minimal space.

Great Storage Solution
I purchased this book shelf as an alternative pantry for my tiny under-equipped apartment kitchen.
It has been a great visual and functional addition. It was easy to assemble and is of good quality metal. As a way to secure items on my shelf and add a little character i've been using some old gym locker baskets that bring out this dusty gunmetal finish.
Overall great purchase!

much needed bookcase
I made this purchase for my tight office space in an attempt to keep the desk area as clutter-free as possible. As a result it currently holds my kindda big HP printer and my computer speakers and my Bose system. When I upgrade to an all-in-one computer and get rid of the speakers that will free up one more shelf to hold books or collectibles/dust collectors, lol. I assembled it by myself both on the couch and on the floor so as not to scratch it. Took about one hour.

Good Bookcase
This is a great book case size for any room, especially mine. Looks great when its all put together. My only problem with this was the assembling, which gave me a little bit of a hard time.

Form and Function!

Extremely Satisfied With Purchase
I was on the fence for a while when deciding if I should spend the money to buy this bookcase. After setting it up a little while ago I have to say I am very satisfied with my purchase. The bookcase arrived promptly via Fedex overnight and was well packaged. Setup took about 45 minutes as there is quite a bit of screwing to do but once it was finished, it was awesome! Great quality and very good looking (better than I was expecting). Rolls around with no problem at all and has plenty of space for whatever items you may put on it. I wrote this review because I know there may be others who have been looking at this item for a while but have not pulled the trigger on buying it like myself. If you are reading this, go ahead and buy it. You will love it.

Good Product
The go-cart desk was far easier to assemble than this shelf unit but with a little patience I was able to assemble it fairly quickly and by myself. All the parts fit nicely and squarely, the shelves are study, and the wheels screwed in well and if necessary you can add either washers or loosen the wheel a bit to adjust for uneven-ness. I love the carbon color, perfect size for my bedroom...I would definitely purchase this again! CB2 has yet to fail me on any purchase I've made!

Go-anywhere shelves!
This is a great value! Easy to put together, great looks. The finish does show fingerprints, but it's not an issue for me. I work at home, so I need hard duty office furniture -- bought the whole Go-Cart suite -- desk, console, large and small shelf units, and file cart. Can't beat the style, functionality, and great value!

Perfect for the bedroom
I LOVE these shelves! I bought two and put them side by side in my bedroom and they look perfect. They are not too big or too small and I really like the wheels.....makes my room much more interesting.

Assembly Nightmare
Although handsome in the photo, the bookshelves are of poor construction. I purchased two for my son's graduate school apartment, and they were impossible to assemble in a stable fashion (leaned to one side when put together). Additionally, the wheels would never go on. Attempts were made not only by my son but the maintenance department of the apartment building with no positive outcome. Frustrated and with little time to complete getting organized before classes, my son resorted to using duct tape to stabilize the shelving attaching them to the wall. Rather innovative, but a disappointing $400 investment!

Great addition to my home office!
These book shelves (I bought 2 and have them side by side) are the perfect storage solution for my home office. They are mixed use and have work stuff intermixed with personal photo's, lights, vases, and printers;) I've received tons of compliments on them! P.S. Glad I got 2 - they look better together than single.
