Perfect docking shelf
Love this lil' guy. I bought three and use them all. Great space saver/storage solution for books, knicknacks etc and handy place to keep you phone charging at night, esp in tiny bedrooms that don't allow for nightstands.

Cheap, wood, and smelly
These shelves look a lot better in the pictures versus in-person. At first glance, they appear metal, but they are actually wood (you will see that in the description if you read closely enough)...we were okay with this, but we weren't expecting plywood. Lastly, these shelves reeked of a formaldehyde compound upon opening the box....major turn off especially since they were supposed to be used in a nursery. No thanks. The up-side? CB2 is taking them back no problem.

Pretty; Beware of Design Difference accdng to size
I immediately fall in love with this product for its color, design, and usefulness when I saw the photo of the short one. I ordered the long one because I needed something that can hold more than one cell phone (like my iPod and small clock. Unfortunately, the long one doesn't have the hole like the short one, so now things look messy with lots of wires showing on the shelf. So beware that the design itself is different according to the size. I wish they spelled it out in the description.

Great Purchase
Love the shelves. I also had no hardware included with the longer shelf ( the shorter shelf did include screws). Not a big deal, I just made a quick trip to my local hardware store. Don't let the idea of no hardware included stop you from buying these shelves. It was hard to decide where to put them because they look great everywhere! I do not use the little one for an ipod docking station. Instead it holds a ceramic piece of art my daughter made me.

satisfied
I was looking for this kind of shelf for a long time. I wanted to put my one surround speaker on it and didn't want a huge shelf or black normal one. When I found this unique, modern and cute shelf, I was so happy. I recommend it strongly :D

Perfect size and great color!
I have been searching for a shelf, exactly this size for sometime. I finally found it on the CB2 website while actually looking for something else. The shelf arrived ahead of time anticipated and was simple to install. It looks great and serves exactly the purpose it is supposed to.

Very trendy as a set.
Real wood. Have in an arrangement with red metal magazine rack. The big shelve holds a bunch of CD's (yes I am old school) and the little shelve is great for charging my iPhone. Guests always comment on how neat they are and often plug their iPods in to top off their batteries.

Great product, lousy hardware
I love the shelves - everything about them. I bought 3 to create some storage for small items in my office. However, the included hardware is awful. The screw heads don't fit within (i.e., protrude from) the countersinks in the pre-drilled holes, and the blueish metal of the screw heads looks bad against the red shelves. Plus, I was screwing into wood, not drywall, so the included screws were much longer and fatter than needed.
But, a quick trip to the hardware store to buy some better screws and a can of spraypaint to paint the screwheads red, and all problems were solved.

Looks nice, no hardware sent
Similar to other reviewers, the shelf was not sent with any hardware. I called and they sent new screws and anchors. The plastic anchors were massive and I didn't use them as I only planned to place light things on the shelf. Once the shelf was up, I was really pleased with the look. Simple and chic.

super cute shelves!
These look great in our space - a cinch to put up, and they do work really well with the dry erase cork board, as shown! Absolutely love 'em. We puts ours up in the kitchen, and are using them to display a small bud vase and a couple cookbooks - a perfect fit for the room.

Awesome shelves
I love these shelves! Just wide enough to hold a couple of books that I am reading currently and an alarm clock and my phone. Not to mention how nicely they compliment my room and minimalist style.

Shelf slightly uneven
Purchased both shelves to hang in our condo's rear entry way. The surface of the larger shelf itself tilts slightly down and to the left, although the shelf was installed straight and flush with our wall. Not a problem for us because we're using it for dog collars, keys, etc., but might be a problem for media storage. Color is awesome, shelves look great against a brick wall.

Great Shelf NO HARDWARE
When I opened the box I was excited to instal right away and was unhappy to learn that there was no hardware to instal. Luckily I had some screws and anchors in my garage so I didn't have to wait again for another shipment. I love them now that they're up. Just wish they would have sent the hardware along with it.

Perfect for a phone
We go the little shelf. It is exactly what I expected and great for our phone. The hole for the cord is a great idea. Ours did not come with hardware.

you get what you pay for
I had the choice of build (DIY) or buy for 4 feet of shelving for DVDs in our library/home office/theater room. I saw the these shelves and ordered 2 of them. When I unpacked them I saw that the right hand corner on both shelves was not properly rounded over like the left hand sides were. This is fine for the intended room but I would have returned them if they were to go in a more formal room.

Great idea...
I have 2 of these, one for my cell phone and another for a phone in my bedroom (both small shelves). The color doesn't really match my walls but I thought it was such a great idea. Thumbs up...
