Toddler-safe and attractive
Great replacement for our coffee table when our toddler started to crawl.
1) holds lots of toys and blankets
2) loved color (CB sends swatch for free, so check first!)
3) great hinge- stays up when you push it up, very safe,
4) surface level enough to rest a plate, glasses require a tray or coasters
5) does not budge when 25lb baby pulls up, but rolls easily for mom and dad for cleaning
6) safe but not frumpy-- if you put all the toys inside and close it, you can't even tell there is a baby in the house! We still feel like grown-ups
--- measure your couch first—we have a very large couch, but would be too long for some couches
----when the swatch comes, spill some stuff on it--seemed to us to be easy to clean

Great product, unfortunate styilng and pricing
Overall, this piece is well built with a great hinge. However, the fabric wrapping as it goes around the interior could be better. The piece is large, but can fit pillows and blankets well.
The presence is quite demanding due to the legless structure and the color is hard to match. It's more a chartreuse than a lime, which is more generally available.
We initially settled on this piece as we needed bedroom storage, but couldn't overcome the mismatch with our midcentury/modernist aesthetic.
Overall, I'd recommend this for people who have a more transitional home. The price was the ultimate kicker, as even on sale it's the same price as a used Nelson bench, which we're replacing it with.

Really great color
Agree with the other reviews. The color is a bit greener than appears in the photos and is really cheerful and bright. The storage is also very useful and the lid opens easily even though it is quite substantial. The wheels make this item very versatile. It is comfortable to sit on as occasional seating.

Great coffee table alternative
We ditched the coffee table when our little guy started pulling up. This has worked great. Lots of room for toys and blankets, comfy to sit on, and the casters make vacuuming and rearranging a breeze. Color is slightly more green (less yellow) than pictured - fabric weave is nice. Accidentally spilled coffee on it, and it cleaned up good as new. Great purchase.

Just as advertised
Selected this ottoman for a client, and it's the perfect solution for a small living room that serves many purposes. Coffee table, ottoman, extra seating and storage all in one. The color is great and works well paired with more muted tones.
Fabric quality is not fantastic, but fine for the price, and the spring-loaded top is really easy to open despite being pretty big.
