overview

height of light. Adjustable construction raises the bar on the classic tripod lamp by telescoping light up/down where you need it. Slim shaft of tubular steel with brushed nickel finish ascends hi/lo from contrasting solid steel tripod base in raw gunmetal. XL white cotton drum with linen-y texture tops it off. Neat detail: cord feeds through center shaft to keep lines clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice lamp I bought 2 of these lamps for my living room. Pretty easy to put together myself and appreciate that it comes with a bulb. Just afraid the shade will get dirty over time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice lamp!! I bought 2 of these lamps about a month ago. Very nice quality! I'm into neatness and clean lines so I do like the way the cord is fed thru the middle stand but still can see the cordon the floor.. I think I'm going to to disguise it down the one leg so it is tighter and won't be able to see as much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this lamp! I've had this for approximately 6 months. It is stylish, of good quality, and affordable. Really like the foot pad to turn on and off. My only wish is that it could make a brighter light, or have two brightness settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Lamp! After seeing this lamp in the SoHo store I couldn't help but return to the UES location to purchase. The adjustable height is nice and makes for the perfect addition to our living room. Solid quality, very nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minimal and "Chic" This lamp looks beautiful in our living room! It's simple and the proportions are perfect. The quality of the materials is exquisite and it was easy to install. We added an external dimmer to make it even sexier! Love the look and highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I bought this lamp about 2 weeks ago and it was a cinch to put together. I love the big shade and it looks great in my living room. I needed a stable floor lamp because I have a big golden retriever and kids. It's been holding up really well. A great price for this lamp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lamp The oversize shade and tripod legs are just our style. Adjustable height is nice. We replaced the CFL light bulb it came with to a regular incandescant A-lamp. (I just don't like CFLs at all). Only bad thing is that I wish it had a dimmer switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Lamp! I bought this lamp and it is great. It looks fantastic in my living room. The only thing I would change about it is that it is pretty dim, so it doesn't light up the room entirely but it provides great ambient lighting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes! Just bought this at the West Hollywood store. Could not be happier. The oversize shade is so sick!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely awesome Just got this lamp today and had to write a review – it's that good. Modern, sophisticated, and awesome for the price. We were trying to decide between this and the big dipper lamp for our living room, but ultimately went with this one as it seemed to fit better in the space. Assembly was a breeze and the metal pieces are substantial and high-quality. The shade is also (as another reviewer noted) larger/better than we anticipated, and it's beautiful. The adjustable height makes it easy to work it into whatever space you have. Gives off great light – warm, bright, but not too much. The foot pedal switch is a fun bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Humphrey would be proud! Don’t let the name fool you. I used this lamp on a Thursday! It is a great piece for any day of the week. Its sleek “tripod” stand is adjustable, and the on/off switch lies on the floor for easy illumination with one’s foot, gee whiz, that’s fancy! It says (bulb not included), but low and behold, there was a brand new bulb nicely packaged within the lamp’s temporary cardboard house. I guess all that rubbing of elbows with the big wigs down at CB2 really paid off, or maybe…hmmm. Assembly was a synch; my spider monkey really put those disposable thumbs to good use. Don’t worry he did throw them away after one use; he gets their money’s worth! If I were a caveman, I would say, “You buy lamp, lamp good!”
