overview

mirror, mirror. Well-edited wardrobe by Amanda Ip of Slate Design reflects on a smart use of space. Full-length mirrored panels add depth to the room and provide a head-to-toe view. Stained a deep charcoal inside and out, streamlined construction of beech veneer over engineered wood shows beautiful variation in tone, grain and texture. Behind the looking glass is a meticulously organized configuration: Hanging rod up top; one fixed shelf and two divided adjustable shelves for sweaters, tees and shoes. Ten top hooks park coats, scarves and hats. A must for the bedroom, but also neat in the entry. Learn more about the designer, Amanda Ip, on our blog.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great storage soultion We recenbtly purchased two of these for storage and they have been a life saver. Not only do they provide great hanging and folded stoarge they look great. Our only disappointment is we didn;t have room for a third one in space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Space Saving, Elegant, Functional & High-End When moving from my own home, to a shared flat in San Francisco ... space came at a high premium. I found the perfect nook in my closet-less Victorian suite where two Reflection Wardrobes fit perfectly. Not only did they expand the feel of the space with their huge mirrored fronts, the walnut finish anchored the space and the high-quality of construction made these pieces feel built in. I was able to store two entire closets worth of clothes, costumes, shoes, and accessories into these two pieces. I have worked in furniture and design for years prior and must say I am so impressed with the build and style of these pieces. For under $900/each, this collection feels and behaves as if it were a custom luxury case good that would typically cost thousands of dollars to construct. I HIGHLY recommend this piece to anyone looking to expand their storage and look/feel of their space. I would buy it over and over again if needed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern, spacious and fabulous I bought this armoire in the store but it took over a month and half to arrive. It was well worth the wait although at the time I wasn't too pleased. It was a cinch to put together with 2 people and I love how there are metal reinforcements at all the screw attachments so it would be super easy to take apart if you ever need. Its a nice, solid and sturdy piece that looks great. I think the hinges should be slightly more adjustable as it doesn't allow for as much adjustment as you might need if you attach the doors slightly off like I did. But overall a great piece that looks fabulous, nice quality and worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice and easy to assemble This is really nice looking piece of furniture. My husband and I assembled it in about 1 hour. It does take 2 people to assemble. We use it in our entry way for coats and shoes. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is that we have bins in the bottom with shoes. The varnish on the wood has scraped away from pulling the fabric covered bins in and out to retrieve shoes. Seems to me that this should not happen so easily. The mirrors are great and add an elegant touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great space with sleek design! I bought 2 of these wardrobes to sit together to accommodate for a lack of closet space. The depth and sturdiness is ideal for what I needed. The 2 look great together; I recommend pairing them if you plan to place on a large wall. The color is also great to pair with either dark or mid-range color furniture; the piece has a taupe grey look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flattering mirrors Like the roominess and interior, and love the way we look in the mirrors, but I think they're slightly warped? We look skinner than we are. They're a great self-esteem booster though!Follow the instructions and don't try to assemble on your own like I did, the parts are heavy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as described So happy with this item. We purchased two and they look great together because of the modular nature of the wardrobe. Very roomy, holds tons of stuff. Assembly takes two people but is fairly intuitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, streamlined, and spacious! I bought 2 of these wardrobes to place side-by-side in my bedroom. They look beautiful and very majestic with both in place. The color is somewhat taupe, so it mixes well with all neutrals. A great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with this item I bought this wardrobe a couple of weeks ago and am VERY happy with it. It is just the right size, in that it holds a ton but doesn't overtake my bedroom. It fits perfectly in the corner of my room. I am able to fit all of my hanging work clothes, about 12 pairs of shoes and a stack of folded jeans. I also love the hooks in the inside of the doors. They hold a couple of belts, some camisoles and my hoodie. This cabinet has helped me keep my room sooo much cleaner and all my clothing organized. The piece looks substantial and nice... not cheep looking at all. My only complaint is that it is a bit of a beast to put together. I had to have two friends help me with it. To get the doors on we actually needed all three of us working at the same time to get them on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this last month and its a total winner. You want to make the most of a room with limited closets, the mirrors on this create the illusion of space, plus they are full length mirrors. The assembly is really easy only one part takes two people and the directions were clear. Total assembly was 30 minutes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The perfect apartment piece I bought this unit for my son who just moved into a Manhattan studio and needed to streamline. This armoire is fabulous! Slim and tall, it doesn't overpower the space but every inch is useful and well thought with scaled down dimensions. Full length mirrors cover the two doors; there are drawers plus inside hooks; hanging space and shelving. My son fit all his suits, ties, belts, and sweaters in this piece with room to spare. It is being multipurposed as part of a wall unit with another cb2 chest of drawers that is doubling as a tv stand! Perfect in every way!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great item, BEWARE OF DIMENSIONS!!! I loved this closet the minute I saw it online and seeing it in the store confirmed it. It also was PERFECT for my alcove... or so I thought. The online and magazine dimensions say it is 35.75". This is incorrect - or this is the measurement of inside the closet or the bottom footprint - this is NOT the full width. My alcove was 36" at the bottom and like 36"+ in the middle... walls were not perfectly straight. I opened up the box and started assembling, first testing out the bottom and it wouldn't fit by a hair. I wondered why and measured it - it is 36" across. As you can see from the picture, the foot is narrower. This .25" error changed the entire project. I still loved the closet so I ended up spending hours sanding down my walls and cleaning up drywall dust to get it to fit perfectly. It is a great piece, functional and beautiful (with magical skinny mirrors too! :-P), but WRONG measurements. I should've brought a tape measure to the store. Other than that, for the price I wish the back panel was a bit thicker and sturdier; it feels quite flimsy.
