recycled leather stripe rug 6x9 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique! This rug looks even better in person. I love the fact that it is made of recycled materials. It is very sturdy and the leather (which is more like suede) makes it heavy and also sort of "grippy" so it grips to the floor and does not need a rug pad underneath. It is soft to the touch and underfoot. There was a leather smell for the first few days (I actually liked it) but it goes away.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice rug, horrible smell I have had two of these rugs sitting out on my back patio for a month since they arrived airing out and the intense leather smell has some what died down in the 100 F Arizona heat.. If you can air them out they are nice, the feel and look is great, but the smell is not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! My rug just arrived today and I'm already in love--it's absolutely stunning! The combination of the pattern and texture is striking, and the quality and price truly can't be beat. I haven't noticed any issues with odor, as a previous reviewer commented. My one note of caution has to do with sizing (which I'm guessing will vary a bit because these are hand-loomed). I bought this for a space that was just large enough for a 6x9, but the rug I received was actually 6'3" x 9'10"... quite a bit larger and too big for my space! No problem--I switched it out with a rug in another room and I'm quite happy. But if you're planning for a truly tight fit, just beware that you might get more than you bargained for!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to my hallway I got the runner version and it looks great. My only complaint is there is a bit of a smell when you first lay it down but goes away after a couple of weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and Stylish My office has blue carpet aged from years of use by prior occupants . . . it is not going away. This runner cut in two and used as an L shape carpet looks inviting from the hall, hides the years of underlying carpet wear, blends well with metal cabinets and wood desk to tie the look together. The leather clings to the carpet below so no raised corners or trip hazards. The leather remnants is supple and of high quality. The weaving of the rug is also of high quality. Overall a great value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why am I the first to review this?! I just received the rug in today and was so eager to get on here and write about it. First, it smells great! Being leather it also really feels good when you're barefoot. A rug pad isn't needed because it naturally clings nicely to the floor. It's a little grayer than what I thought it would be. I'm interested in how it will wear being a woven leather - but even if it shows wear in a few years I don't mind. Leather gets beautiful over time and it was worth every penny (did I mention it's a great price for the size and style)!?!
