Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good but so dirty I bought this rug about 8 months ago and looks great in the living room. My only complain is that is gets very very dirty very very fast. I don't understand why since we take off our shoes at the door and it's only two of us living here. I have tried everything and tried to get a pro cleaner but not even they know how to clean this rug. I really wish it was easier to clean, but sadly after 8 months I decided it's time to throw it away :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Interesting concept but disappointing I was intrigued by the recycled leather so decided to give this rug a try, especially due to the low price. Although the rug seems well made and the leather strands create an interesting texture, it ultimately isn't comfortable underfoot. It's not nearly as soft as traditional wool or cotton rugs and is far from being described as "cozy". The lesson here is leather is not the best material for rugs. One benefit of the leather is it grips the floor well, so a rug mat is unnecessary. The smell is also a bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not only a great rug, but a bargain as well! I've had this rug for several weeks now, and am very happy with it. It looks good, lies flat, and looks like it"ll be very durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last few years, I have noticed a strong trend for area rugs! Well, I have light, very neutral carpeting. Hmmmmm, It's time to update!!! In my living room I have two chairs facing the sofa and separated by a very large glass cocktail table. The chairs and sofa are a very light neutral gray. It's nice. However, I decided to give the room a new look, saw this striped, leather rug and bought the 8 x 10! WOW!!! I can't believe how this rug just "pulled" the room together. It shows off my old sofa (which still looks like new), the transformation is absolutely fresh, new and beautiful !!! I'm going to get new pillows in the light and dark shades that are in the rug,... perhaps, I might find a great teal pillow and a couple teal accessories for a nice classy pop of color :) Now, some reviewers commented about the smell of new leather,... yup! It's just like a new car! It doesn't take very long for it to go away,... than you wished you had it back again ! ! !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pulls the room together I was a little wary at first, having never owned a leather rug, but this rug knocks it out of the park. It pulls the room together nicely and stays in place without a rug guard under it. The variations in the leather are very attractive and my place was full of that "new leather" smell for weeks. Yum!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice rug I am happy with this rug the leather keeps it in place so it is not always sliding around. It is a great size at a good price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique! This rug looks even better in person. I love the fact that it is made of recycled materials. It is very sturdy and the leather (which is more like suede) makes it heavy and also sort of "grippy" so it grips to the floor and does not need a rug pad underneath. It is soft to the touch and underfoot. There was a leather smell for the first few days (I actually liked it) but it goes away.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice rug, horrible smell I have had two of these rugs sitting out on my back patio for a month since they arrived airing out and the intense leather smell has some what died down in the 100 F Arizona heat.. If you can air them out they are nice, the feel and look is great, but the smell is not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! My rug just arrived today and I'm already in love--it's absolutely stunning! The combination of the pattern and texture is striking, and the quality and price truly can't be beat. I haven't noticed any issues with odor, as a previous reviewer commented. My one note of caution has to do with sizing (which I'm guessing will vary a bit because these are hand-loomed). I bought this for a space that was just large enough for a 6x9, but the rug I received was actually 6'3" x 9'10"... quite a bit larger and too big for my space! No problem--I switched it out with a rug in another room and I'm quite happy. But if you're planning for a truly tight fit, just beware that you might get more than you bargained for!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to my hallway I got the runner version and it looks great. My only complaint is there is a bit of a smell when you first lay it down but goes away after a couple of weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and Stylish My office has blue carpet aged from years of use by prior occupants . . . it is not going away. This runner cut in two and used as an L shape carpet looks inviting from the hall, hides the years of underlying carpet wear, blends well with metal cabinets and wood desk to tie the look together. The leather clings to the carpet below so no raised corners or trip hazards. The leather remnants is supple and of high quality. The weaving of the rug is also of high quality. Overall a great value.
