overview

put a lid on it. Handmade of matte white glazed stoneware, multitasking bowl squares up to dish out soup, pasta and dips. Also does double duty as bakeware. Off with the rubberwood lid to use as a trivet for dishes hot out of the oven. Or put a lid on leftovers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looking, but not air tight Love the look of this object and it can be very useful for storing items that don't need to be air tight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking but only for good for certain items. As some of the other reviews state, the top portion of this does not seal the contents of the container well. Great for tea packets and other packaged things you keep in your kitchen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Went right into yard sale box..... I really should have paid heed to the only review on this item ! I really hoped it was a fluke for that buyer but not so much. Mine too is warped and uneven and the lid fits badly. I had planned to use it as a salt cellar but because of the warping and lid gaps I cannot. Too much of a pain to repackage and return although I really should.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Warped container and ill fitting lid I love the look of this item, but when mine arrived... first of all it is slightly warped on one side. And second, the lid doesn't fit well. I didn't expect it to be air-tight, but I assumed it had a silicone gasket around the wood for a tighter fit. It doesn't. And due to the warped side on mine, there is a slight open gap no matter how I place the lid.One the plus side, it looks good (if I hide the warped side in back). The lid is a pretty piece of wood. It is slightly gray, which it appeared to be online and I was hoping it really was. (Sometimes I order things online and they are a complete different color than what I thought they were based on the online photo.)
