Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a standing desk I bought the predecessor to this model that is the same except it doesn't have the storage compartment under the tabletop. That addition makes an improvement on an already great design. I use this bar table for a standing desk at work all day with a bar/desk height adjustable office chair. A laptop and 21" display fit easily with plenty of room for keyboard, mouse, papers, and a coffee cup! The storage compartments hold anything i use in a typical day including vertical magazine holders for files.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3++ *With the help of a competent friend I was able to assemble this table- which really didn't seem too difficult but you do need an extra set of hands. It took less than 2 hours (including time getting rid of the previous table).*Currently I use this for work- it's quite contemporary a looks snazzy and since I haven't found the bar stools I want, works great as a standing desk.*cheesy plastic discs that cover the screws- not noticeable so not a detractor*major diminish-er of stars was the hole in the middle. It's quite function-less as the wire would be protruding right out of a visible area. I would have preferred the hole to be in the side panel rather than the middle partition panel.*Good quality. With shiny materials, it's sometimes a gamble. The glossy finish gives this table an edge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Addition to a small apartment! It's been about a month now, and I love everything about it! I use this table as a dining table, a desk (frequently a standing desk), a place to organize things, and much more. It looks stunning in my apartment and coordinates with literally everything around it.A couple tips: be sure to have a friend help assemble it! I did it on my own, but it took several hours and it was quite difficult. There is quite a bit of awkward lowering and guiding heavy pieces in place with precision involved and it is incredibly hard to do that successfully on your own. Also, if you are the impatient type or the type to disregard instructions, this is not the desk for you! Most of the many many pieces look the same and are finished on both sides and it would be incredibly easy to work with an incorrect piece or work on the incorrect side of a piece if you do not pay proper attention. Also, make sure to clear a huge amount of space to work in and to lay everything out in!Having said all that, the effort was well worth it, and this my favorite and most used piece of furniture in my place!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design! I bought this as a dining table in my very small apartment and it is perfect! Also plan on re-purposing it as a desk when I move into a larger space.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Design I purchased this table and it was a good height and had excellent storage. However had to return it due to the smell of the laminate finish. Perhaps this was just my experience, but thought it would be good to put out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought a few months ago--very happy with this purchase. The unit is perfect for tight spaces and the shelves have a lot of capacity. You can adjust the level of the unit which is perfect for my "vintage" and uneven floor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic table -- used as a desk This table is perfect to use as a tall desk -- I stand to work at times and use a stool when sitting. The size fits our home office space perfectly and looks beautiful. The storage on the side is great for work related items. I stash current papers and work in the shelf underneath to keep the top clutter free. Nice and sturdy and much more affordable than those high workstations you can buy. This was exactly what I was looking for in a home office desk. Been using it for nearly 2 years. No complaints! Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Table I purchased this table to use as a front desk at my new business. We are able to store items in the shelves out of sight and it helps keep the clutter under wraps. The finish seems to be holding up very nicely with all the use it has gotten so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect multi-function table A few years ago I purchased the old version of this table, it held up great through daily use. More recently I purchased the new public table. I think this one is even more versatile. Now I can use the bookcase side against a wall and have access to both bookcases, which I find makes my space look larger because the metal legs instead of a bookcase make up less visual space. I live in a 300 square foot studio and this serves as my dining table, kitchen island and desk. The side facing the kitchen stores wine, cookbooks and platters. The side facing my "living room" holds books, my laptop and I purchased a utensil drawer organizer that slides in the cutout to hold pens, sticky notes, etc. This table is sturdy, has adjustable feet (great for places with uneven floors like mine), and is really durable. It stores a ton of items and still doesn't appear cluttered. I have one barstool on either side. It is difficult to find comfortable barstools that can sit same side with this table because of the chair legs. It is a great height, even for a short/average female I can still use this as my only countertop space for my kitchen. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Functional Dining Table, Using as Desk This product is very affordable and functional. I've been using this table as a desk, and every time someone sees it, they comment on how cool it is. It's the perfect size for small spaces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, Stylish and Functional! We use this dining table as a desk. I love the side shelves because it provides access for books and accessories. The overall aesthetic is simple yet stylish! I also love the glossy white finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Designed for Small Spaces! I bought this table for my daughter's 297 square foot NYC apartment (I furnished her entire space with functional furniture from CB2!). You don't realize how critical it is to have multiple function pieces until you live in a small space. The storage/shelving allows her to store bowls, sets of napkins and placemats. We joking refer to one side as her dining table and the other side as her "office"...there is identical shelving on the other side were she stores her electronic devices and folders. Definitely a "must-have"! Only downside is that it's easy to scratch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You will not regret - beautiful table! When i first saw it that this table came in so many pieces I got scared Im not going to be able to handle this without mans help but it took me just 2h to put together, everything was labeled so it was easy. I think this table is more comfortable for tall ppl, im 5"9 and its feels little too tall but dosnt bother me, im very satisfied with my purchase, awesome quality.
