The Ideal Space Opener
We bought this for our townhouse which is an open layout with large windows at the front. By the time you reach our dining area it gets darker; with this [white] table it opens our space up, and can sit up to six comfortably. Plus, it's white- so go Crazy accessorizing! It's sleek, easy to care for, and well worth the price! My fiance and I plan to buy another as a shared workspace- It's That great! We drove from Cedar Rapids Iowa to the nearest CB2 (being Chicago,), a 3 hour drive and it was worth the borrowing of a van, the gas for the van, and the cost of this table- To Have this table! You'll be pleased!

versatile table, one tiny flaw
we bought this table for our eat in kitchen area. we leave it closed for every day use and open it for big family dinners and when we entertain. i love the high gloss finish and the overall design of the table. the only issue i have with it is that with 3 kids crumbs easily get into the "cracks" of the table. i have to open it up every week to get them out and clean it up. otherwise it is fabulous!

This table is great for small spaces, very solid, not too difficult to assemble (did it myself) and can expand for a party/larger dinner party

Very satisfied customer
I've been searching for a lacquer (or something of the like) table for quite some time. Considering they are not duly noted for their life span, I was skeptic on which one to get from where. It is the honest truth when people say you get what you pay for. This table is sturdy, Heavy and very attractive the picture does it no justice. I even considered replacing this with my formal dining (if I didn't love that one as well) Needless to say I don't settle for less and this has met my expectations.

nyc gem
perfect for small or hybrid dining areas. quickly and painlessly assembled, and the leaf easily converts for additional seating (could get up to 8 if you really wanted).
only downside is the white surface is a bit precious, and requires a lot of precaution not to stain or otherwise mar. but that's only bc it's so pretty and we want to keep it looking that way.

Great Purchase!!!
We bought this table a while ago for our Manhattan apartment. Fits perfect in a small place. Also, the table is expendable and you can sit 8 people comfortably. The Vapor chairs go great with the table!

Pretty and Functional
This table is beautiful. I love the glossiness of the finish. To make things even better, it's super functional with the extension leaf to expand the table to seat six and hidden space to store the leaf when not in use. My only advice is to make sure you measure your space before you buy; if you truly have a small space like me, this table will fill it up.

Smart, Compact Dining Table
I was set on purchasing an extendable dining table for my urban condo. After comparing options from a few retailers (both steel and wood versions), I'm convinced this table is a top option for an affordable, modern look.
The table is a BRIGHT clean-white color, which contrasts well with non-white walls. The table extends easily and I appreciate that you can store/hide the leaf right under the table top. Great for compact spaces.
I had to have the table exchanged once upon the first delivery because the table arrived with a few minor dents along the edges. Not major, but noticeable. After using the table lightly for the last few weeks, I wouldn't say the table is prone to denting, but it could happen if you move/handle it a lot. Additionally, I could see how the table top could become scratched if you're not careful (as seen in a store model of the table), but I've used a soft cloth to clean and haven't run into any problems yet.
I commend CB2 for their great customer service with regard to replacing my lightly dented table with few questions asked. Happy with this purchase.

sturdy, modern, perfect condo-size
i was hesitant to write a review because I don't want to see others owning this table. The table works well within a small space. Very easy to put together and the built in storage for the leaf is very convenient and unnoticeable. have not experienced any scratches. Would be nice if the table came in different colours.
Customer service at the store was excellent and i received the table and other furniture on the day and time that was scheduled.

Just what I was looking for
Our dining room isn't the biggest. This table works perfect. Weather dining for two or six, it's just what we were looking for.

Great table...
Beautiful, well made, high quality table. The reviewers said it scratches but - knock on wood - I haven't had that problem, even after having a party with 40 guests. That said, I made sure I had a lot of coasters around & had some place mats. Nonetheless, not everyone used them & I still didn't have any permanent issues.
The only CON is I wish the table legs didn't angle out - would have much preferred straight streamlined legs. Overall, very pleased with this purchase as I am with most CB2 products. Also, they were delivered on schedule & easy to assemble.

very pretty table
I love how this table looks and how compact and sleek it is. It was delivered as scheduled and was easy to assemble. I would recommend keeping placemats on as it can scratch. It's very convenient to have the leaf stored inside the table. I am really happy with this table, we paired it with the oat colored chairs, perfect!

sleek beautiful table and desk
This table is beautiful with elegant lines and sleek finish. I use it as a desk most of the time. In the desk capacity I use a clear shelf liner (not visible) to protect the finish from lap top and typical desk items. I can quickly roll the liner up, tuck it and desk items away and I have a beautiful dining table for four or six place settings of six feet of buffet table.

Great Table
We like our table. We paired it with acrylic chairs and its looks great. It is easy to expand or reduce the size with the leaf. Wasn't very hard to put together either.

THE table for small spaces with room to grow
This is the best table on the market for small spaces if you want the option of seating 6. It is excellent quality and sleek, functional design. Get this table - you won't regret it.

Perfect for small space
Love this table! We don't have a lot of room for a big table, but having the option to expand is great! I love the look, it goes great with the Reed Chairs we also bought from CB2. Haven't had any scratch issues like other reviewers, I guess we are careful!?!

Pretty, functional table
Best looking expandable table we could find and at a reasonable price! Had an experienced handyman add lockable wheels to the table, in order to increase its height for a person in a wheelchair.
The only drawback I've found is that the legs "splay out". The wheelchair doesn't catch on them, but I do. Those wheel locks are sharp on ankles!

Gorgeous TABLE
