Rated 4 out of 5 by from Goes great with alcove bookshelf I bought a couple of these shelves to go with the alcove book shelf. I really love the way it looks but would prefer if it came in black to match the alcove. Easy to hang and looks great on the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully constructed multipurpose bookshelf I first seen this bookcase in the CB2 Berkeley location. I was impressed with how well they displayed it which convinced me to buy it for my at home library. I am truly satisfied with the product quality and hope it goes on sale soon so I can buy many more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very cool way to shelve books! Bought two of these and love the way they work. Used them in a guest room to shelve a few interesting titles that a guest could pick up and amuse themselves with. Weren't the easiest things to put up but after two of use figured out the first one the second one was easy and they look simply great. Put coat hooks in the crooks and it works perfectly without taking up any floor space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE but requires quite a few holes in the wall. I LOVE these! I had one up in my last apartment and then bought two more when I moved. Unfortunately, I ended up not finding a place I really wanted to hang them and have been holding onto them until I move again this year. The real downside for renters is that you have to drill quite a few holes in the wall to hang one of these. They look awesome though! If you own your house or plan to stay in one place more than a year at a time go for it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I bought two of these over the xmas holidays for my collection of cds. I am not a fan of buying stuff in pairs so I had to buy a third one. No regrets!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, airy and functional - read for install tips! I installed 3 of these in a zigzag pattern - they look great (wish they had other typical CB2 colors like orange or aqua for extra whimsy). As others have mentioned, they are a little involved (6 drywall anchors/screws per piece) but definitely stand out.Recommendations on the install:- ideally have someone help to pre-pencil mark the holes to be drilled - trying to do so while keeping the shelf level yourself can be challenging- do use a drill for drilling the holes for the drywall anchors (but not the screws!)- do use a level- although not a must, I do recommend using a studfinder - since there are 6 anchors to be installed, I found it paid to avoid the stud(s) in my wall and try to keep items to the drywall- recommend using a screwdriver and not a drill for screwing in the screws - a screwdriver allows for the type of slight adjustment that a drill makes difficult on a piece like this- last and most importantly *start screwing the screws in from the middle, fanning out the sides*. This is important because the sides of the shelf are "flexible" and can flex adjust to fit your drill holes (figured this out by shelf number 2).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great small storage solution This is a simple, attractive and modern way to store a small selection of books and other objects. I purchased one and then later another because they look good in multiples.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small, but great touch The shelf is actually a little smaller (I think) that it seems in the pictures on the website. It's still a really nice touch for a small wall space. Having several of these stacked (like in the picture) would be awesome and I'm definitely considering getting a second.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome shelf!! I absolutely love how this looks on the wall with my books. I had a bunch of extra books stacked on the floor. They now have a fun and interesting place to sit. Thanks again CB2!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from lovely but involved I bought three of these and they look wonderful on my wall. However, the hardware included did not work (the screws wouldn't advance into the anchor and ended up causing the anchors to rotate within the wall instead). After substituting the included anchors for my own, more sturdy metal wall anchors, the shelf went up easily and I'm very pleased with the effect.
