Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value I did a great deal of shopping around for a coat rack for my small apartment, and this one was not only the most affordable, it was also the most stylish. It's simple and elegant. It has a small footprint, and offers a lot of storage. I love that the base is a thin tripod rather than a big round platform that traps dust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from exactly what it looks like The drywall in our apartment is really soft, so the hooks I put up fell off over time, even with lightweight coats. I decided to get a stand despite not liking them much.I'm glad I found this one! It's a reasonable price, so easy to assemble you don't need instructions, and I think it's attractive. The style is simple but a little bit interesting, so it's not a focal point or an eyesore. It will go with almost any decor.I like that you can move the 'branches' around to suit yourself. I like the materials it's made of. I especially like the 'legs' of the stand, that they're flat and only three pronged; if you check out most others coat stands that is where the design falls most and appears cheap, for lack of a better term.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great showpiece, but not leveled i purchased this piece for my office to hold my jackets and/or sport coats. the perfect height and the contrast of the black steel with the light wood keeps the look simple and clean. unfortunately, i do agree with many of the reviews, the bottom is uneven...even on a leveled floor. i would have wanted adjustable feet, but the base being steel does give the rack a good weight. i added a small shim (fabric scrap) to level the base. for the price, this is a great rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Practical Purchased this for our entryway. Perfect for hanging our family's coats, hoodies, grocery bags, ect. It seems to hold a lot. I like the simple, modern industrial design and the different size pegs. Easy to put together and it is sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish workhorse We purchased two of these for our office and absolutely love them. They hold multiple winter coats, scarves, jackets and even laptop bags without difficulty. Not to mention, the Peg coat rack is great looking -- couldn't find a better fit for our modern aesthetic. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to assemble Easy to assemble. Looks just like it is pictured. Sturdy. I like that it doesn't look like your grandpa's coat hanger; it's modern and goes well with my decor

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good space saving rack. This item is pretty easy to put together, and you can configure the pegs however you like. Mine had a little chip of paint on the black metal bottom, but aside from that, it looks good. I would mainly use this for hanging hats or scarves. I still prefer hangers for coats. Although I suppose you could hang some coats on there with hangers as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from even better in person I looked at this online and didn't think it would work for me, but then I saw it in person and decided it was worth getting. Now I'm so glad I bought this instead of a much more expensive one. It's well made, stylish, and sturdy (so far.) Thumbs up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Timeless and reliable As other reviewers have mentioned, the base definitely has a 'right' side and a 'wrong' side. The side with the divot should lay flat against the floor as it allows the screw to be tightened and flush with the rest of the floor. Once assembled, the coat rack is totally stable and has held 3 kids winter coats, 1 purse and 2 adult parkas. On top of the utility, we get compliments from everyone that comes in our front door.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coat Rack! I bought this product about a month ago and absolutely love it! The base is sturdy enough to withstand weight of coats and bags, but takes up little space in our entryway--in NYC space is so important!Love the minimal design. This product checks all boxes in form and function.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it We love most of the things we've purchased from CB2 (ex: couch, coffee table, etc.), but this was a real disappointment. It simply doesn't stay vertical. We've tried tightening it a number of times from the base, but to no avail. If you plan to use this for lightweight scarves, you should be fine, but a few jackets.... not so much. Perhaps, it was just the one we purchased. In any case, buyer beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful coat rack It's heavy enough to be sturdy but light enough to move to another room. The wood and metal look so great together.Easy to set up! Just note that the flat bottom part screws in right side up and upside down, the right way though allows the rack to stand flat. I screwed in it upside down (either side of the piece look identical and appear totally flat) and it was slightly wobbly but then flipped it over and was perfect. The instructions don't specify which way it needs to face upon affixing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs. It is attractive, sturdy, reasonably priced, and was easy to assemble. Really high value/bang for your buck. I'm renting a house short-term and have very little furniture, and so needed a place to hang tote bags, hats, and a jacket or two. It looks stunning next to my antique Japannese tansu chest, itself a combination or iron hardware (black) and light colored wood.
