now you see it. Now you don't. This transparent new console floats in the room without taking up permanent visual residency. Thick-cut plexi in one seamless turn adds clean mod edge to entries, hallways, and behind the sofa. Priced to disappear quickly, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Peekaboo! This is pretty adorable, and totally visually compelling. It's a fun surprise to see the table/not see the table/see the table/not see the table. Plus, it's more compact than many other console tables out there which was important for us (it's in a small 41" alcove, and fits like a glove - and it was harder than you'd guess to find one that fits!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from When Every Millimeter Counts... 37 inches long of artistic transparency may not seem like a big deal (but when every millimeter counts)...Saying goodbye to my trusty CB2 acrylic peekaboo console; which I bought five years ago when they just came on the market. A woman is picking it up tomorrow; after 30+ emails and three weeks' worth of negotiations: Craigslist does work if you handle it properly. Anyway, back down to under 600 sq ft I go...Farewell, old friend. Scratched as you may be by now, many a piece--narrative/opinion/poem/haiku/several published articles--and the bulk of the biography that hangs over my headgasp emoticon!--has merged out of me while I was sitting at this desk-that-could-have-doubled-as-a-console-but-I liked its-height: measured-it-even-so-that-I'd-never-have-to-consider-purchasing-another-desk. You've been privy to three different computers and all the aggravations we're now accustomed to whenever the simplest glitch--or the latest batch of Windows updates--leads to a blue screen. You've enjoyed Edith Piaf warbling away; The Seekers and Peter, Paul & Mary taking me back to the Sixties, when a little Cuban girl listened to and learned these songs by heart while participating in campfire reunions at summer camp in the North Georgia mountains. Brahms' piano concertos Nos. 1 & 2--especially Leon Fleisher's transcendent renditions. Julie Andrews animatedly singing "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." (Did I get that rightwink emoticon?...or the touchingly delicate "Feed the Birds" that always brings tears to my eyes. Cuco Sanchez and his searing ballads that take me back to my infancy...Oh, well. You get the picture--Has all of this amounted to an ode in prose? Perhaps. Or a paean? The good news is that there's a mental space in my new seriously-have-had-to-measure-everything abode that might cajole me to purchase a fresh one: still on the market; at the same price, even. Some things do beat inflation (especially since this console has become a CB2 best seller)--So this is also an ad for CB2. They actually hold competitions for great reviews of their furniture--much shorter than this one, though.Perhaps I should give it a whirl, anyway?Perhaps I should submit it to some online website/blog?Anyway, writing this has helped me come to terms a bit with saying goodbye to the peekaboo console/desk.I know what this is--it's a eulogywink emoticon!! Well, more of a memoir...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Versatile Table This is one of my go-to pieces for a small space in need of a desk or small console. It fits perfectly in just about any decor. Curvy, clear and versatile — that's what I love about this piece. While I love it in my living room, it could easily move to an entryway or master bedroom. One of the best furniture investments I have made I have 2

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Edition to our Historic Home Entry Way I have been searching for a piece that would work well in the entry way of our 100+ year old home. I wanted something a little different that wouldn't take up to much visual space in front of our gallery wall. This table as the perfect choice! It works well with an antique captain's chair we already have there. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Clear to Me! This console is perfect in every way.It serves dual purposes; it is a desk and occasional table for a combination home office/tv room. Here's why it's great:- It takes up little to no visual space which lends to the airiness of the room.- Despite how light it looks, it is a heavy piece that isn't going to tip or fall.- It is the perfect size to hold a laptop, pad of paper, phone and lamp.- When not used as an office desk, it is just the right amount of space to rest a couple of beverages and a dish of appetizers (or bowl of popcorn for home movie night).- It is easy to protect from scratches. I purchased a clear place mat that protects the console from my laptop when I'm using it as a desk.- It's easy to maintain as it requires only a wipe with a soft cloth.Am I glad I purchased it? Let's just say that CB2 isn't getting it back! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great console! Bought this for a small space in my daughter's bedroom- and it's just what we were looking for. The acrylic is great because the table almost hides away and adds just the right modern look .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very stylish I purchased 2 of these tables about 2 years ago. I have loved the look and would purchase again. The only warning I would give (and the reason I gave 4 vs 5 stars) is that they scratch very easily. I had intended to use them as a narrow desk, but had to re-purpose them when I noticed scratch marks right away from light use. They now look amazing in my foyer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right size. This desk is the perfect size. It's a big enough workspace, but it doesn't take up a huge amount of space. The clear material provides the perfect foundation for beautiful accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and functional! I ordered this table to be used in the bedroom as an occasional desk. It's the perfect depth for papers and a laptop. As well, the room still looks spacious since the desk visually disappears into the wall. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Piece I am using this console as a desk. I have limited room for a workspace in my tiny apartment, so I am using my walk-in closet as a little office. This desk makes a bad situation quite tolerable!!! It takes up no visual room; you can see right through it. I have it under a window and it looks simple and beautiful. As for functionality, only a monitor, keyboard, & mouse fit on top, luckily I have a cute red filing cabinet nearby for any work papers. I believe when I move and can create a better office, this piece will work anywhere, such as a fun entryway table, or behind a sofa holding decorative pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So chic and perfect for a small apartment This item is the perfect console table for our small bedroom, since it doesn't take up any visual space. I am now addicted to acrylic and want more acrylic pieces! The table is sturdy, and after a few months of use, still does not have any scratches or signs of wear. Overall, am definitely happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for My Space I recently reworked my spare bedroom/office and wanted to make it feel less crowded and more comfortable for guests. This desk fits the bill perfectly. Its transparency almost makes it disappear. But its style makes it stand out! That doesn't seem possible, but it serves it's purpose as a desk and adds a real flair to the space.Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally bought this! I've been wanting this console table for maybe 3-4 years and finally bought it. I love it! It's kind of making the rest of my stuff look a little shabby :O

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing nook desk for NYC In NYC we do not have physical or visual space for computer desks, every corner is precious. CB2 saved the day for my wife and kids, as this became the family computer center. In fact, the kids call it the magic desk and matching chair. The CB2 staff was very knowledgable and helpful as well.
