Rated 1 out of 5 by from Industrial look? We just bought a couple of these planters online and we got very disappointed, one thing is "industrial look" and another one is to get a "garbage can look". The quality of the products is bad too- These planters are going back, sadly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice modern planter I wasn't sure how this would fit in with some of our antique pieces in our living room but wow, its light enough to move around (with plant) and tall enough to really add character. Needless to say it fit right in. Now I really want the smaller one to compliment this one :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Urban Planter We have had these for three years. They have been outside year round and still look fantastic. They are pretty heavy duty and sturdy. We love the modern and rustic look. We put some bricks in the bottom to make sure they stay put. We also had to drill some drain holes to keep the plants from drowning. Overall, we really like them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Look great / need drain holes Love the look, but if it rains a lot my plants are floating in water. Can't complain too much for the nice price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition to Brooklyn garden We purchased a set of these--one large, one small--for our Brooklyn backyard. They work brilliantly as space dividers. They're also very light making them easy to store in the wintertime.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love the look! Bought these a few months ago for our newly landscaped backyard and patio. We ended up drilling a hole into the inner pot part to assist with draining. They look great with the succulents we planted. We plan to take the inner pot out and use the shorter one as a cooler for drinks at our next party.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Funky and modern design I bought 2 of these planters last year for my daughters very modern apartment and they look great on a patio and make for easy planting as they have a removable insert in the top. It is also convenient for watering as excess water is contained in the insert. I recently purchased 2 more planters for my own garden and am very happy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love love love this planter!!!!!! This planter looks totally cool with my other modern chartreuse planters!!I planted a great mix inside two plants that run down the side! Rated 5 out of 5 by from mine have stood the test of time I bought mine in the summer of 2010 and they are still going strong! I love them, they are so chic and modern. Drill a hole in the bottom and you won't have water issues. Also, I live in New England and I do put them in my shed between November and April/May. Finally - yes, they can dent - two of mine blew over during a hurricane one year. But a few bangs with rubber mallet and you could hardly notice. For the price I would definitely recommend these. Especially if you get them on sale!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Look great, but no drain = rust Just like the title says, these look great, but there's no drain. If you drill or cut the metal, it will rust. That said, I'm having to spend additional time figuring out a way to plumb a drain hose from the insert and out through the bottom of the outer container. It's a fun DIY project, but it shouldn't be necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Modern and Industrial Look I bought two of these Oscar Planters last summer and love them so much that I justpurchased another one. They fit in very well with the industrial modern look of ournew mountain house. The metal containers are very thin, so you need to be carefulwhen lifting out the top pot filled with soil and plants because the top edge can bend.Similarly, be careful not to bump in and dent the sides of the containers. I am veryhappy with this product - thank you again CB2 for another unusual product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome industrial planters I bought one of these for my balcony to match my industrial aesthetic and I am definitely not disappointed. Would recommend if that's the look you are going for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Aesthetic! This is the second time I purchased these planters. The look is modern yet industrial and fits well with any decor. Be careful though, they are thin metal and very light and tend to blow over. Adding about 4 or 5 bricks inside at the bottom keeps them in place. Use caution in moving them or in their placement as they can dent rather easily. Also consider drilling a few holes in the bottom and in the insert to let water flow through.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice! I have both sizes of the Oscar planters. They are great with our decor. It is windy where we live and the loaded planters are a little top heavy. Placing them next to a railing or something fixed helps protect them from toppling over. It would be very helpful if there was some kind of drain hole in the outside piece. They take on water during a rain and it is almost impossible to drain them because of the collar coming down inside the top. Being able to keep them dry would increase the life of the metal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I need a few more!! I love these planters!! I bought four of them a few years ago & they are all still perfect. I bring them in during winter. One disadvantage - you MUST drill holes in the bottom for drainage - otherwise the bottoms will rust out right away. The removable inserts make planting super easy. I'm ordering a few more for the front of our house.
