Quality Issues, Still Cool-Looking
It's unfortunate that some have recommended "ignoring" reviews regarding the ease of assembly, as quality can evidently vary from chair to chair. While assembly is not rocket science, the chair I received has holes that did not line up quite right and all four thin, cheap washers provided broke, due to the misalignment. The instructions warn of not fully tightening the screws (which I didn't) and I made sure that the legs with "hash marks" (two dots) were facing the front of the chair. Further, one of the legs is a smidge shorter than the other three. Otherwise, it is stylish and reasonably comfortable to suit our needs as an infrequently used accent chair. I will be purchasing better quality washers myself, rather than requesting replacements from CB2.

Very nice chairs
These chairs are very comfortable, I was looking for chairs that would work good for dining as well as using around the house or extra seating for guest. Had a few weeks with no complaints.

Amazing Value
if you like these buy them. I looked months for chairs. I almost decided not to purchase the orbit due to reviews stating assembly complications. These reviews are false. I assembled 6 chairs in a hour. A total of 4 screws per chair make sure hash marks on legs are facing the front of the chair. So EASY. you are not going to find another chair with this look, quality at this price.

Still a great chair
I just ordered more orbit chairs for the third time. Even over a number of years, the product is consistent and my chairs have held up great, even with toddler wear, which is why I keep ordering more as we expand our space. These chairs look fantastic and are both comfortable and functional.

Best Modern Reasonably Priced Chair Ever
I had looked in SOOOOO many stores for the right casual, reasonably priced dinner chair. This was the perfect combination of design/style, quality (made in ITALY!), comfort and price! It is wider than it appears to be in the pictures. The shape of the seat caters well to the shape of one's bottom (i.e. no numbness)!

A Modern Classic?
I really love the look of the Orbit chair and how it fits into our lifestyle--stylish, but not precious. This is an everyday, working chair that gets lots of use in a house with kids. I don't worry about anyone spilling anything on it, putting their feet on it, or driving a toy car all around on it. The material is durable and looks great no matter what. For that reason, I can really recommend it for families with kids.
My one caution would be to take notice of the dimensions, because it is a bit larger than most standard dining chairs and for that reason, may have trouble fitting into some smaller spaces/nooks, especially if you're planning on a set of 4, for example.

I love these chairs!
I purchased several of these chairs a couple of years ago and love them so much that I recently purchased a couple more when we moved to a home with a larger dining space. They are exactly the same as the older ones and still super easy to assemble. These chairs are great for kids--so easy to clean.

Ignore other reviews- chair is EASY to assemble
I always read and appreciate the reviews on this site. Often the feedback has impacted my previous purchase decisions. This time when I needed four chairs for the dining room in my midcentury modern rancher, I identified four potential chairs online. I then drove to the Atlanta store and examined each one, sitting in each of them for an extended period of time. I was pretty sure that I would not be buying the Orbit chair because of the many reviews that I had read claiming that the assembly was difficult, if not impossible with the supplied hardware. However, this time I relied on the comfort of the chair to make my decision and bought four Orbit chairs. When they arrived to my house, I was prepared for the difficult assembly that others had spoken of. I read the assembly directions (I guess I'm old school) and saw the mention about the hash marks that distinguish the front legs from the rear legs. When you aline the leg base with the legs with the hash marks to the front of the seat, assembly with the supplied hardware and tool couldn't be easier. Just note: this hash marks are on the top of the leg base (that which abuts the seat) and the assembly is from the bottom of the leg base, Maybe that is why others have overlooked this important element in the assembly process.

Loved this chair!
I received this chair and despite all the comments on how difficult it was to put together, I had no problem. The design is great and it was very comfortable.

Cool looking chair
I love the mod look of the orbit chair. It's actually comfortable too.
One note: not all of the chrome bases arrive fitting properly with the white seat. I had to return one but the replacement came promptly and I was able to assemble it.

Great Customer Service
I ordered four of these chairs and ended up having a problem with the base of one of them being bent. CB2 expeditiously sent a replacement "no questions asked".

Great buy. Be prepared for tricky assembly
I bought four of these chairs to accompany the Blox mango wood dining table. The guys in the Santa Monica store were fantastic. They let me take 4 or 5 chairs to the table to see what the combinations looked like. I found the Orbit chairs the most comfortable and the white and the mango wood worked well together.
The only watch out is that you cannot assmble these chairs using the alum key provided. The holes in the base of the chairs are too small for the screws that are used to attach the legs. I rang customer services and they mentioned that this had been mentioned by other customers. If you have an electric screwdriver you should be fine - but be careful you don't screw too tight as you will crack the seat. I didn't have an electric screwdriver so ended up using some scissors to carve out a bigger whole in the chair. It's plastic so easy to do, it just took some time.
Now they are finally assembled, they look great!

Super comfortable!
Not only is this chair chic and modern, it's one of the most comfortable dining chairs out there. I'm 5'11'" and it's often hard to find a chair that works for me. This chair molds to your body and provides amazing support for the lower back. I only wish it was available in more colors.

Awesome Look!
I LOVE these chairs, they give my dining room the modern flair I was looking for. The ONLY reason I rated them a four out of five is because they were ridiculously hard to put together. Im usually pretty good about putting together furniture, but I needed a power tool AND a man. Once they were together, They were flawless.

I Love This Chair
This is a fantastic chair for the price. I know people have said it's hard to put together but my movers did it and had no problem. The secret is to pre-screw the screws before attempting to attach the base as the screw holes are rather tight and will create a problem. I could see that someone bigger may have a problem fitting into this chair but if fits me perfectly. I'm using it as an office chair to the Dwight Console.
