Nice table, but scratches very easily
I love the style of this table, but the surface will scratch if you sit a plate on it or slide a book across it. Make sure you use place mats! It arrived quickly and it was already assembled which was great! It doesn't wobble and looks great in my breakfast nook.

Exactly what I needed
Living in a 600 sq foot flat, I was looking for a table that would suit my need to have meals as well as function as a work desk during the day (as I work from home). Taking careful measurements, it seemed it would fit and not be too large or consuming. However, until it arrived I wasn't sure.
Thankfully, I was not disappointed. The table is perfect. It has ample room for a work space, ideal for two people to dine comfortable and four people could certainly work as well.
It is a white table which is the color I was seeking, and it is a wonderful substitute for the Knoll Saarinen table that I will never be able to afford. ;)

lovely table high style & economical
Have this table in my daughter's room . She loves it its set up very much like the catalog . She can do homework or have an after school snack or chat with friends.I had table professionally assembled it is sturdy and we have owned it for 3 years.

Classic Style, Affordable Price
I've had this table for a couple years and it has served me well. Granted it doesn't get used everyday. It is a nice looking table that has proven to be able to take moderate use without getting damaged. I find the table blends in well with different environments and can be used with a variety of dining chairs. Overall a good value.

Fine except for the base
I haven't had problems with the streaks yet - but the table is horribly wobbly. I'm trying to figure out a solution at my hardware store - but it is disappointing.

Stunning but wobbly
The table was exactly what we needed in terms of the color, dimension and height but it is wobbly from side to side. It is hardly a month old. Also I have already seen a few scratches develop on the top. Not happy with the purchase.

Beyond disappointed!
I bought this table with so much excitement only to frown at it everyday. It stains soooo easily that even wiping it with a damp cloth stains it and leaves watermarks. Even stains if I just touch it. If I could afford another table then I would buy it, but I can't...so I am stuck with a table that looks dirty all the time. I was a loyal cb2 customer and will never buy from them again. Terribly and cheaply made furniture.

this table is perfect for small spaces, easily fits four chairs around it, and is extremely light weight - overall very happy with my purchase.

A little tipsy
I bought this table as I cannot afford a Saarinen at this moment! I am pleased with the aesthetic, size and quality, however since I am using it as an office/work space as well as dining area I am leaning on it often, and it wobbles quite a bit. Now, this could be an issue with my floor not being totally even, but it seems as though the base isn't heavy enough for my "leaning"! It's a bit annoying when I have coffee around my laptop! I am going to try to see what can be done to make it more stable, otherwise I'm quite happy with it, until I can get the real thing!

Great style, poor quality
We thought we had found the perfect table. The style is exactly what we wanted but after a few months the top was chipped in several places w fairly light use. For $200, the finish should be a lot more durable. We love cb2 but we're extremely disappointed with this purchase.

A Workable Table
Dining room tables (especially stylish ones) are expensive--this one is not, which is why I would recommend it. It was assembled before delivery, so the guys just placed it right down in my kitchen. It's sturdy and looks great. I feel good knowing that when I move in a few years, I can sell it or give it away, and I will have gotten my money's worth. Cons: It already has a scratch on it from a stapled article I was reading. If you want it to stay scratch-free, table cloth or placemats are a must. I imagine kids or pets would massacre it. I have neither.

BREAKFAST NOOK
I PURCHASED THIS TABLE FOR A BREAKFAST NOOK AND IT WORKS GREAT. iT IS ACTUALLY LARGER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE JUST FROM THE PHOTOS ON-LINE. I PURCHASED THE GRAY PONY CHAIRS AND THE CHANDELIER - SO MY SPACE LOOKS LIKE THE CATALOG!! BUY IT - YOU'LL LIKE IT!!

Awesome Table
I recently purchased this table for my personal training studio and it just makes the space POP. I combined this with some red chairs and it really helps define the area in my space that is for talking with clients, doing paperwork, etc.

Perfect little table
This table is just what we needed in our space. The center stand creates so much more legroom underneath and now no one has to do the awkward spanning between sections with a table leg between their knees. We use it in our office to hold smaller informal meetings with clients and it works great.

great fix
I was in search of a top for a vintage saarinen-like table base I'd scrounged out of a trash heap last year, and this was the best, least expensive fix for my situation. It's sturdy, has a fabulously glossy coat, and, at first, second, and third glance looks like the real deal. looks perfect in my tiny dining room next to a six-foot long Danish modern credenza. major kudos to CB2 for the excellent packing and shipping.

Great buy!!!
I bought this table 3 years ago, as a dining table for two. Pretty soon after I realized I need more than 2seats because we loved sitting at the table it's very durable and comfortable. Any scratches or scrapes comes right off with the magic eraser.

Very nice but super fragile!
We bought this table a year ago as a permanent dining table because it has a very classy style and seemed to be very sturdy.Even though I am careful it started chipping off and there are scratches all over.This table is great for a temporary use but as a permanent dining table that is used all day I wouldn't recommend it.We will have to invest into a new table very soon.

Great affordable table
I love this table. The lines are sleek and reminiscent of the Saarinen table but is at a much more affordable price. It comfortably seats 4 and takes up very little space. The finish is not shiny high gloss white and is instead white matte. with a little sheen. So far I haven't had any of the scratch issues, other reviewers have mentioned but I use round placemats to protect the table
