key to the mini bar. Mini-priced mini bar (minus the overpriced macadamia nuts) designed by MASHstudios. Streamlined woodsy cabinet washed in a sheer grey stain inventories a fully stocked bar. Bottles and barware stash behind doors: left hides one fixed cubby shelf over removable X wine rack; right conceals one fixed shelf, exposes one slim brushed aluminum pull. Bartending drawer for corkscrews, coasters, napkins, tools of the trade…maybe even a Toblerone. Wood composite case floats on plinth. Learn about MASHstudios on our blog.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional and Stylish This is a very nice looking piece. It went great with the gray scale we have going in our apartment and was small enough to fit in our space, while still offering a lot of storage. It was very easy to pick up from our local store and easy to put together. It's quite heavy but manageable between two people to move.My only word of caution to potential customers if to make sure it will fit in your space! right now we have it behind our dining table, and the doors are difficult to get in and out of. I almost wish they were sliding doors or something (obviously not possible!) so that they didnt get in the way of the table. Make sure the doors will fit in your room!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek Storage Solution Purchased a month ago to pair with the CB2 sift raw wall shelf and phoenix carbon chairs. We use it with a natural teak table from CB and think it ties the look together because the charcoal stain has a wood grain visible that lends a natural edge to an otherwise super-mod piece. I'm thrilled with the aesthetic appeal.Functionally, there's even more storage in the piece than I thought there would be after measuring the dimensions. I like the flexibility of installing the wine shelf or not. The drawer and doors close smoothly and softly. One downside: it's not easy to childproof it.It took more effort to assemble than I thought it would -- so I wish it would have come fully assembled.Ultimately, I searched design sites and other shops for months and could not find anything of higher quality, similar dimensions, for a better price. LOVE IT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great product hands down this is the best thing I have gotten at CB2. I love this little bar. I use it in my entry way and as a laptop desk and catch all. it is super durable, and still looks amazing after over a year of daily use. it holds so much stuff, it is freaking unbeliavable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek and Stylish. This was a great purchase for my apartment. The Mini bar is very high quality and feels like it will last a long time. It is very easy to use and makes the whole room a little classier. Now I need to invite people over to show it off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bar for a small space First, let me say that the design of the bar is great, particularly for small spaces. This holds all of my hosting drinks, spirits and bar ware perfectly. However, the color as other reviewers have noted is more so green gray than charcoal gray. I don't mind the color since my focus was storage and it actually goes with my decor anyway. Happy to have purchased it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great small bar! I've owned this bar for a while now and it's the perfect size for our condo. it has plenty of storage for bottles, a few glasses, ice bucket and other bar accessories. I like the color and its modern straight look. I'd definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good-looking mini bar I bought this to store wine glasses and to use as a mini bar and it is fantastic. Good size- it doesn't look oversize in person but can definitely hold a lot! The color is a medium-dark gray, looks good against a light colored wall. The texture of the wood is smooth and elegant. Putting together the door can be tricky, but they have a manual that shows you how to adjust so that it closes seamlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this piece! We need space! This piece pulls together the room in a way that makes us look like grown-ups live here. Lots of space for wine and booze or a gigantic Le Creuset we can't fit anywhere else. Assembly was easy but those wood pieces are heavy, so watch your toes!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not gray more like green gray We purchased this mini bar as the color says charcoal in the title, the color is more green than gray. To me charcoal is a deep gray, nope not close. We ended up returning it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy assembly, great piece We bought this as a Christmas gift-to-self as we had been talking about getting a bar for ages. We absolutely love it. The assembly was much easier than expected and we had it all complete in under two hours. We love the inside wine rack and the spacious shelving. Really brought our living area together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I bought this item several years ago and it's still holding up like a champ. I assembled it myself--wouldn't recommend, but it's doable--and ended up scratching the top in the process. The mark isn't noticeable unless you look for it, though. Otherwise the entire piece has been quite durable since, even through two rough moves. I happen to have the one in the pool blue color, but I would absolutely buy this again in gray for another area in my place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Greenish gray in person I saw this in the store and it was more of a gray color with a greenish tint. The tag on the piece actually said "Color: Grey stein". I wish it were dark brown or "charcoal" as advertised. Otherwise it looked nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Complicated Construction for the Cost It's a beautiful cabinet, when you finish it, but be mindful that it shows up in two boxes and there are nearly 100 small parts required to put it together. There is also very little information about which direction certain things should face (shelving, sides, etc.) and lacking that, putting it together will take more than an hour and a screw driver. For starters, the lack of information about which direction certain pieces should be facing (up, down?) makes the first few steps a bit difficult. While you're navigating the dimensions, those dozens of small parts don't stay put until the entire bar is assembled so keep an eye on the varies screws, dowels and clamps that keep falling out and rolling away.As your masterpiece comes together, also ensure you tighten the screws, but not too much, as the sum of the parts isn't actually all that stable as you add to it. If you over tighten the screws you risk not being able to fit the various pieces together so tighten them after you've totally assembled. All in, I was pleased with completing my Survivor-like task but not so much when I realized I just plunked down $400 for something I spent nearly 2 hours putting together and it still looks a little unstable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Price for Such a Versatile Mini Bar I bought two of the charcoal swig bars for my apartment - one to use as a mini bar, and one to use as storage. It's a very versatile and stylish piece of furniture that equally serves both functions (and the wine rack is removable if you choose to use only as storage). The finish is really unique and was actually one of the biggest selling points for me - the stain is light enough to show the wood grain, and the color is the perfect shade of grey / charcoal.I highly recommend this bar - it fits perfectly in a modern apartment, but because of the finish and minimal details, it could easily blend into a variety of decors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minimalist Bar Bought this piece to consolidate all of our bar items in a smaller space, and it's perfect. The wood finish is beautiful and unique (it's charcoal with a greenish tint), and the functionality is ideal. It has plenty of space of heavy drinkers (like myself), without any of the unnecessary features that often accompany bars. I'm very happy with this item.
