They're what we were looking for.
We searched and searched for opaque white ceramic cups without handles and couldn't find them anywhere else. Plus the $3 price was a definite bonus. We wish they were a bit larger and the description of 12-oz is a stretch since you'd need to fill them all the way to the brim to fit 12 oz. But they match our white dishes (different brand) quite nicely and we're very pleased.

almost perfect
This is a beautiful show piece and goes well with my very modern white kitchen. Only drawback is that it is too hot to hold with your hands - so instead of "warming" your hands it may likely be "scorching," so be careful - do not pick up with a just freshly poured hot drink. My hot chocolate was ready to drink but the cup was not ready to hold! (tip: I held it by the rim)

great design
love the look/feel of the mug... however it does get very hot to the touch when filled with a piping hot beverage. most of all i like the textured surface and the small scale - big enough for a decent cup of joe, but not obnoxiously large.

Don't be fooled by the price
Really? Less than $3? I grabbed two of these on impulse, but I wish I had grabbed more. These mugs are beautiful: pure white color, nice tactile feel, great size, delicate appearance... definitely look and feel much more expensive.
