overview

hi tea. Neo Victorian teapots pour modern in a surprise pop of bright aqua, orange or yellow silicone—yes, silicone—over porcelain. Sculptural shape and touchy-feely texture are sure to be the talk of the table. Have a tea party with white eddie teacup and silicone-topped green saucer.

ray ray, lizzy and wayne teapots with eddie teacup and saucer is rated 4.2985 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Look! Not So Durable.. Just bought this several weeks ago via online.. Came with a few marks that were not possible to remove from the rubbery finish. Decided they were small enough that I did not want to go thru the hassle of the return. I am concerned that this will hold every mark and stain easily. Looks great though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous and unique I love this teapot! I love the color, I love the silicone, I love the modern take on a traditional silhouette. You can't beat this for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A bright addition My wife noticed these teapots and wanted one for Christmas. She could not decide so I purchased all three of them. They are really cool. The small one is great for having a solo tea party. The yellow, middle size is great for tea at breakfast for 2 to 3 people and the large orange one is perfect for having company. The colors are great and are a bright addition to our kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little Mid Century Tea for Two I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband, who is a hot tea lover. It takes up very little space, perfect for a side table. The matte aqua silicone is a design find. It's short and stout and shouts Mid Century meets contemporary!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect gift! Purchased for my foodie friend as a gift and she loved it! Serves its purpose well and makes for a great decorative element in the kitchen. Awesome yellow color!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful and fun I bought this as a set of three with the other two colorful CB2 teapots and it is a little gem in my collection. The color is vivid and the feel is fun with the silicone on the ceramic. I haven't gotten to use it yet but it has a proper lip on the lid to keep it on when pouring and it seems like it will do the trick. :) I only withhold one star because the silicone coating is quite thin and the first teapot I received was scratched down to the ceramic. The thinness helps preserve the details on the more intricate of the three teapots, but it is something that will require extra care when washing I think. All in all, this is a lovely piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic and Modern I bought this as a home warming gift for a young lady in her first home. She loved the silhouette of a classic teapot combined with the current-for-today coating and happy yellow color that fit her decor. It was a big hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pretty and usable I love this teapot, it is very pretty: retro but modern with the bright yellow coating! It is also working great, it pours tea very good without spilling everywhere. I haven't noticed any staining of the yellow coating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fun shape, good feel I bought this as a gift for my sister. It is sized right for single person use, and has a great shape and scale... looks cool on the shelf when not in use!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my ray ray! I bought this about a month ago when I was looking for a small teapot and tea cups like they give you when you are out for Asian food. I bought little white teacups and the Ray Ray teapot and couldn't be happier. It holds about 4 tea cup sizes servings and is perfect for sitting outside sipping tea while reading a book or when I am sitting down for dinner. I throw the teabags inside with hot water and honey and enjoy! I absolutely love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Fun I ordered all three of these whimsically colored teapots and they are beautiful together. The silicone coating is thinner than I expected, which is good for preserving the details of the ceramic underneath, but I imagine I will have to be extra careful with it so as not to cut or damage it. I have not gotten to use the teapot yet, but it looks like it will be a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect! At first I was disappointed in the color, a little pale. But the longer I looked at it the happier I became. I bought this to display in my kitchen, which is bright white and cobalt blue with mustard yellow accents. Because the yellow is slightly different than the rest my "Lizzy" is the first thing you see.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute but it stains This was a Christmas gift I was delighted to receive due to the pretty shade of aqua, but after only be in using a week, a tea stain from the string on the teabag left a permanent mark, as well as a stain on the spout. I've tried several product to remove it but no success. I'm surprised it stained so easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A teapot, not a tea kettle Teapots are for steeping & serving tea once you already have hot water.Tea kettles are for heating water over a heat source. If you understand this is not the latter of the two, it'll be great. I've read a few reviews saying, "are you not actually supposed to heat water in this?" YES. you aren't. The product description even says so.That being said, my Lizzy Teapot arrived yesterday after I'd admired it for a few months.. It's super fun. Traditional form, modern color + material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great color! I bought all three colors and they are great. Both fun to look at and nice for tea. For the reviewer who burned their yellow teapot when heating water: THIS ITEM DOES NOT GO ON THE STOVE TO HEAT! This is a teapot for BREWING tea, not for cooking on the stove. You need to pour the hot water into it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ray Ray Teapot I love the Ray ray. It's the perfect size and price. I acutally heat the water in my tea kettle on the stove top and then pour the hot water in to the tea pot to let it steep. This is a great size for my husband I to share a pot. I will be purchasing the yellow one as well for saturday and sunday tea drinking!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Marvelous style! I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend who prefers modern styles and she absolutely loves it. The color and style are both perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cute but tends to stain I received this sweet teapot as a Christmas gift and have used it several times in the past few days, with holiday house guests. A thin stain appeared where a tea bag string hung outside the pot and I cannot remove it as well as another bit of residue on the pot. I love the shape of the pot and the color and texture of the coating but wish the pot had come with care instructions. The tendency to stain and inability to remove them is a big drawback.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty but not functional I received the Ray Ray Aqua Teapot as a Christmas gift. It is very pretty and has a smooth, soft finish to it, but there was a defect on mine. There was something black on the bottom of the teapot that looked possibly like some type of paint or dried-on paper. I tried to scrape it off but it wouldn't come off. I decided to heat some water in it anyway and the substance burned letting off a terrible toxic odor. If that wasn't disappointing enough, I burned my finger on the outside of the teapot when I picked it up. The handle is very tiny and I was only able to get two fingers in it. I thought the silicone would act as a protector but it did not in any way what-so-ever. Not sure whether I will heat it up again or just use it as a display piece. I wish I could upload a picture of what the bottom of mine looks like now. I gave it two stars because it's pretty (not functional).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the look but...... I love the look of this but tried to use it for the first time this morning and the yellow silicone along the bottom immediately started to burn and turned black. Is this teapot for looks only and not to actually heat water in?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Received damaged Ordered in Nov.. Excited to receive, & just as disappointed to unwrap it and find it damaged. There is red marker written on the top, that does NOT come off, and a scratch on the body. Was meant to be used at my daughters first birthday tea this Sunday, and as a gift momento for her.Disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful teapot This review is mostly geared toward online purchasers, as the fact that the teapot is porcelain covered in silicone might be a little confusing.  If it helps, you can think of the silicone as a glaze (in fact, you can see minute sections of the teapot where the spray did not fully cover the white porcelain; note that this is not a negative, as the spots are not really noticeable; they are mostly in the corners).  However, contrary to what you might imagine about a silicone-covered item, it doesn't feel rubbery.  It, in fact, is very smooth, almost like running your hand over velvet. As far as stains are concerned, I would be cautious about leaving this in a sink full of dirty dishes, as some of the floor samples we looked at had small scuffs, scratches, and stains.  And once blemished, it doesn't appear that the silicone will clean easily or ever go back to being pristine unless it is sprayed again with silicone.  That being said, if you plan on using them for display as a trio (yellow, blue, orange), like we are, this should not be a problem.  If you do plan you serve tea in it, as mentioned in the product description, it is fully dishwasher safe.
