Installation Problems
The hooks themselves are nice, but if you have plaster walls, installation can be a problem. The instructions do not tell you what size drill bit to use, so you have to use trial-and-error. And there's no template to help you keep the holes level. After 3 unsuccessful tries, and 6 big holes in my wall, I'm giving up and returning them.

The hook was smaller than I imagined but very functional and I love the simplicity.

Great for Purses and Tote bags
I purchased this hook because I was looking for an inexpensive hook that would a) look good and b) keep my purse and bags off the floor. I've ordered similar hooks from CB2 before and haven't been disappointed. This hook, like the others, was easy to install. Note that you do need a drill for easy installation. Also, if you're looking for a hook that will take your coats and bags, etc. all at once, this isn't it. With only two hooks, it works great for just a few items, but it can look messy if used for too many items.

Great price, great hook
I have had this hook for a few weeks and I really like it. The instructions are very simple and clear. You will need a drill. The information sheet that came with it said that the hook can hold up to 20 lbs, 10lbs per hook. I ordered one for my entry and decided to use it for the kids' coats so I don't need to worry about exceeding the weight limit. Overall, it seems like a nice hook, especially for the price. I would order more if they came in a different color since my entry walls are nearly the same color green.
