heavy!
Very heavy and somewhat of a challenge to put up.Directions say you can hang on drywall, but I would recommend getting at least one screw into a stud.
Don't plan on putting two shelves together as one long shelf as they won't meet perfectly due to some unique differences and warping in each piece. Once up, they look great!

Looks 10 - Installation questionable
Love the shelves. They look amazing, now that they are finally up. It took a while and two helpers to hang them, since they are incredibly heavy. We installed on drywall (with some additional hardware).

Digging it!
This is the answer to industrial chic storage for any space. Can be dressed up or down. Its minimalist appearance holds a maximum amount. I bought 2 for completely diverse locations in my home. It also can support without bowing.

Very nice Industrial looking shelf
Great looking, very sturdy, heavy (needs two people to install. Suggestion for improvement: Make the pre-drilled screw holes 16" on center to allow the screws to hit the wall studs!

Heavy, Slightly Warped
Incredibly heavy. I would be afraid to sleep under this beast. My bottom shelf also arrived slightly warped. It dips toward the right. Still, a nice piece.

Beautiful and modern
You will need two people to hang this, but it is worth the trouble. It's very heavy and sturdy. It has a muted metal finish that matches everything. I'm using it to hold bar ware and bottles and it looks fabulous. It comes with hanging hardware, which worked fine on my walls (drywall).
