Loving my Peg Leg
A sturdy bed for such a great price! It's low but perfect with a mattress and bunky board which adds about 2 more inches. I got the King Size Peggy Leggy and there is still room for the 2 cement nightstands I purchased from CB2 and an armoire which I plan on getting. You really can't go wrong with anything you get from The Crate

Great Bed... After a Wait
My husband and I purchased this bed in October and decided to save the (usurious) delivery cost and pick the bed up at a warehouse. Unfortunately, it took roughly two months for all the parts of the bed to be at the warehouse and ready for pickup - so be prepared for a potential wait. Once we picked up the bed, assembly was not particularly difficult, and we both love it - well built, good looking, and a nice low height. We're very glad we bought it.

Good for the Price
Bought this for our extra guest room and it works well for that room. I didn't measure ahead of time, and it is very low to the ground, and the headboard is on the short side. Also, the wood was darker than it looked online -- more oak vs. blond wood. Having said that, it is a great bed for the price (I was able to buy it on sale).

Just plain beautiful!
My gosh I love this bed. The fabric is sturdy and seems that it will last a long time. The wood is beautiful, finely-grained, and the bed is extremely sturdy and well-made. I love the low profile. I (unlike one other reviewer) have a relatively thin mattress made of latex and wool, so it is a perfect match for the low bed and leaves plenty of room for the beautiful headboard. Definitely recommended.

Only one problem
This bed is fantastic. Really solid construction, beautiful materials, couldn't be happier with that. The only negative thing about it is that the headboard is not very high above the mattress.
I have a substantial pillow top on my mattress that adds about 3inches to it's height, and with that on, there is not much headboard left rising above the mattress. Not a deal breaker for me. I probably just would have bought a smaller pillow top had I known this would be a problem.

sturdy comfort
love this bed, was skeptical about getting a padded head board but is super easy to keep clean and cushioned headboard is sleep friendly! height is just right for out of site storage under bed too. solid construction is not creeky with movement.

A Very Stylish Bed
My bedroom has been completely transformed by the peg leg bed! I added a CB2 chartreuse cirrus rug and a chartreuse painted night stand that I found somewhere else, and my bedroom is now so light and cheerful. I'm so glad I bought this bed!

Excellent frame
The design is sleek, the construction is solid. I'm a big guy and this frame doesn't make a peep. I've had it about a month.
Love that delivery included assembly.
It is relatively low to the ground... but with an 11 inch mattress it feels normal, not unnaturally low.

Good-but SHORT
recently bought this bed. Love it for the most part, other than its REALLY LOW.
The wool on the headboard is great and the overall appearance is nice.
If you are in the market for a new bed, this is a great purchase.

Exceeded My Expectations
This bed is a dream. Solid, amazing value, doesn't creak or squeak. Lovely simplicity & minimalism. Bought it in a king size. CB2 delivery guys put it together in < 15 minutes. Finished good looks at every angle. The red French knots in the headboard are whimsical & simple. The white oak frame looks great against my red oak floor. I can't say enough good about this bed. It's the best I found all over; locally & on the Internet.

Solid Product
Easy enough on the eyes and a good quality bed. Lower center of gravity and solid wood suggests that this bed should last a long time.

Such an Adorable Bed!!
When your furniture is wrong, your whole life is wrong. This bed can really make things right. It is low profile, not clunky and huge, so even in a small room and in the King size, it still leaves plenty of room for walking and living. Red isn't my color so I hand sewed little gray buttons onto the red tufts to cover them up. Now my bed frame looks custom :) I highly recommend this bed for anyone looking to modernize their bedroom with a little bit of style :)

Excellent, supportive bed
We just bought this bed about a month ago and have been loving it ever since. It took about 45 minutes to put together and was pretty straight forward. My wife and I love the solid construction and hardwood components. We spend a lot of time looking for the right bed and am glad we landed on this one. No creeks, extremely solid, beautiful tufted headboard, built to last. Thanks CB2!

Stylish Simplicity
We purchased the peg leg bed in queen size last month for our young pre-schooler's room. The bed looks very contemporary with simple lines and fits the contemporary design of our home. Our daughter had fun selecting coordinating bed linens and loves to sleep in her bed.

Great Value
Like the other reviewer I looked around a lot. When the bed arrived I was so delighted to see that the quality of the wood and the craftsmanship that went into its construction were both really great. It is very sturdy -- no squeaks or bowing. I'm throwing a slipcover on the headboard to cover the felt because I'm more of a summer person than a winter person -- this is the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. I really love it. Delivery was on time and professional.

Amazing bed
Love love love the bed. HIghly recommend it. Very modern look--love the grey headboard. It is in our guestbedroom/ study with the Helix bookcase (4 of them) and the slip C table as nightstand. Looks amazing! Thanks cb2. The bed is great for that price--I looked around a lot.
