metal aluminum wall shelf is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great li'l ledge I recommend hanging this with another person. I did it solo and it worked out well, but it was harder than I anticipated to get it level, to get all of the screws in the exact right spot, whilst trying to hold the ledge up etc... Trust me, do it with a helper! ; ) I used the level app on my iPhone and it worked well. I also put a piece of tape along the back of the ledge to mark exactly where the holes were, then put the tape on the wall so that they'd be precise. The shelf itself is what you'd expect, a sturdy metal shelf that can hold all manner of things, very useful! Another tip - bend a post-it note (into a little shelf shape) and stick it under the spot where you will driill a hole and it catches all of the drywall dust so it doesn't go everywhere. BAM! ; )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, sturdy, finish holds up well We have three of the aluminum ones on our fireplace wall, lined up to make an extreme mantel over a linear gas insert fireplace (we converted our previous box for energy efficiency). Love them, and they have held up well. We live an indoor-outdoor lifestyle year-round here, and our doors are open almost all the time, exposing even the interior furnishings to exterior conditions. The finish still looks perfect, and they have NO flex (alas, a little would have helped with our not-so-straight walls; washers are the easy fix, though) or chips despite heavy use. I plan to use the steel ones in our courtyard and backyard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect shelf This shelf is great for pictures and especially my sons Lego designs he wants to save. It connects seamlessly! The only reason for the four stars is the price. You can get these shelves made of wood in white for fifteen bucks at a large and very popular Swedish store that always has low prices ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shelf, super sturdy. The color is misleading in the picture, it's definitely 'metal aluminum' as per the title, and not white like the picture. It's a sliver metallic aluminum. The mounting hardware it comes with is meh. The wall anchors are fairly flimsy, and require pilot holes to be drilled. I ended up using a set of wall anchors I already had, just to be extra safe. I recommend you hit at least 1 stud too, even though it is just pictures and what not. A+. Love this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Sturdy We purchased three of these in the aluminum finish to span a section of the room where we installed a linear flush mount gas fireplace insert. We were able to ditch the bulky surround, and with it the mantel. But we still wanted a place to put artwork that elongated the line of the room. Butted it up against the wall on one end, and it floats at the other as a 12-foot metal mantel. It is gorgeous, and very sturdy. The edges and bends are all slightly rounded, which softens the look just the right amount. My only complaint would be that one of them isn't quite lined up right, but I have a feeling that is an installation error more than anything else (no matter how many times my husband denies it).
