less than minimal. Stylish and micro-thin, Marta is the mere suggestion of a glass, especially considering its grand size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean lines! These bar glasses are surprisingly durable despite their delicate appearance! The think almost invisible glass has stood up to repeated stirrings of iced tea, taken bashings from large ice cubes and even a little tumble unto the kitchen sink! Here you'll find elegance and affordability combined.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These glasses are perfect. I have had 4 of the short ones for a year now. They are great all purpose drinking glasses. They are lightweight, but tough. None have even gotten scratched. They have stood up to both the freezer and boiling water!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesomely simple I have 6 double old-fashioned and 6 coolers. I love their simplicity, light weight, and capacity. They feel delicate but they've survived my dishwasher multiple times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful glasses, but break easily These glasses will make any drink you serve instantly classier. However, they are very, very fragile so I've stopped replacing them. All of them were broken while washing the glasses (by hand) so if you are careful with them when using and washing they are very nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marta Barware Simple, elegant, casual, formal, contemporary or traditional. Stunning addition to a table setting. I always get compliments when entertaining. This barware is like art work. What is served in this glass becomes part of it, it's just not a drink or a glass, but an experience. The price point is as fabulous as the designer. Well done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from J'adore Marta Glassware I've regularly ordered these since the moment they came out. Yes they are thin, but they're also elegant. Yes they are fragile, but they're also very affordable and thus easy to replace if broken. They're actually based on a much more expensive Conran design...but everyone I know who has these prefers them to the original because they're just a little more chic! Plus- who doesn't love a bargain?! If these fabulous glasses were ever discontinued... I'd be so disappointed. Who knew a glass could bring so much aesthetic pleasure. Excellent for cocktails, but also wine. Deceptively voluminous. You should buy these! As a decorator in NYC, I can say: Best - best glasses I've ever seen or used. I recommend them to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had over 2 years and LOVE these glasses!!!! These glasses are used for big parties and have held up very well in the dishwasher. We have both the double old-fashioned and the highball. We highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for wine and liquor, probably water. consider these delicate, like wine glasses. they're great quality and a good alternative to a similarly sized riedel.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from looks cool but not functional I purchesed four of each of the three marta barware glasses a year ago and I have about half of them left. They look really great but they break SO easily. I've just barely tapped the glass on something and it cracked. I purchased these as my daily use cups so I used them a lot. They may hold up better if you use them strictly as barware as they would probably be used less often and last longer. I need to buy more glasses now but I won't be repurchasing these. I may consider it for a bar in the future. I also found that they were kind of hard to clean - looking cloudy - after multiple washes/use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fragile but Great! I've been owning Marta glasses for years now. They are somewhat fragile if dropped in the sink while washing -- I always break 1 or 2 a year -- but I buy 4 or 5 new ones every year and stockpile them, in case CB2 ever decides to stop selling them. They are super-stylish and make drinks look beautiful. The ratio between the beauty and quality of the manufacturing and the price is astounding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The day-2-day perfect glass! Marta is a very delecate weight glass... but somehow it is sturdy. Both hold ample liquids. We purchased these over one month ago and use them as our day to day glasses. Not a chip nor broken one yet! We run them through out dishwasher with out a problem. These are our new house glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back for more! These are fantastic all-around glasses. They definitely don't look like they cost only $2.50! I keep a bunch of double old-fashioneds and coolers on hand for both everyday use and parties, and am always complimented on them. I also use the smaller ones for many purposes, like snack cups and vases. Yes, they can be fragile...but, I've found them to be exceptionally sturdy considering how thin the glass is...and, at this price, they're hardly a bank-breaker to replace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, simple I purchased several pieces of the Marta barware a few years ago, after admiring my mother-in-law's set. They have held up well over the years, even though they look and feel so fragile (which is why I love them). I LOVE these glasses and hope they never discontinue selling them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely glassware, but breaks pretty easily I love, LOVE my Marta barware. I have all three sizes, and they're great for cocktails. Their elegance belies their super-friendly price. The only caveat is that they're pretty fragile. A few have broken in the sink, and one shattered when I put a big ice sphere in it.
