overview

tale of two woods. Two-tone, four-zone storage contrasts dual timbers in striking vertical profile. Four super-deep drawers in bleached acacia wood highlight natural hi/lo tones and beautiful sweeping grain. Light drawer fronts play off dark mango wood frame stained a rich brown. Adding subtle industrial edge, iron drawer handles and feet are sandblasted then antiqued to a raw silver finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little glitchy I get a lot of compliments on this dresser, and visually they are quite deserved. The wood is great quality and the design is very clean. It's easy to clean (I recommend murphy's oil soap wipes) and I think it will stand the test of time. It did come with that funky woodstain smell when I first bought it and it lingered for at least a month after purchase. To prevent tipping I suggest only opening one drawer at a time when you're putting your clothes away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful wood and great dresser We purchased the tall and low dressers to complete our bedroom set (matched with the dondra bed and audrey side tables). Delivery was quick and setup was simple. Both dressers arrived with the handles on the inside. Unfortunately, when we went to move them to the front on the bottom drawer of the tall dresser one screw would not fit due to the initial hole being at an angle. Called customer service and they were quick to set up an exchange. Within a week the new tall dresser arrived - this time with the handles already in place. A followup call from customer service confirmed the dresser was thoroughly inspected prior to leaving the warehouse and if we had any other issues to let them know. So far, 6 months later, we have no issues - the dressers are fantastic. We experienced a bit of off gassing but that was expected. Much like our memory foam mattress, the scent didn't last long. If you've been thinking about getting these dressers - do it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from truly a beautiful piece of furniture first: I have to say that this chest is gorgeous-it's rare to find beautiful pieces that are solid wood these days! I ordered two of these for a bedroom I completely redid and am very happily using one of them now-it's perfect! However the other one came cracked along the bottom and completely through the top corner. So sad. The replacement that was sent was even worse-totally busted with drawers falling out(broken tracks!) This was devastating to me as I am very anxious to have my room put back together. I am now waiting until the end of November for yet another replacement-and really hoping this one comes perfect!!! Not sure what is happening in transit with these chests but it's a real bummer! Customer service has been amazing which is in large part why I am sticking it out for the replacement. unfortunately I feel it is also necessary to mention the smell-it's really bad! There is sort of a sour odor coming off of these chests-what's up with that? I think it will fade with time and drawer liners help a bit but it really is a disturbing smell...?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good not great I bought this dresser about a year ago. I like how it looks in my bedroom and it's still in good shape after a year and one move. However, it's stability is faulty. I can only open one drawer at a time or it will fall forward.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but Slight Issues I fell in love with my first junction chest b/c of the beauty of the wood and the striations. It was very sturdy and the perfect accent in my bedroom. A year into it we discovered wood beetles within the chest as we kept noticing saw dust on the floor. I thought it was b/c it was new and the drawings sliding in and out was causing friction against the wood and the sawdust was falling. But then I realized we don't really use the drawers since they were empty and we had the piece more for aesthetics than function. CB2 was absolutely amazing in replacing it without any questions, even a year later. The wood beetles came already in the wood when it was delivered b/c we didn't have an issue with it anywhere else in the house. The replacement however is not as pleasing as the first one. The sheen on the wood is different and I wish I could've kept the original. However I know each piece is unique to it's own so I can't complain about it too much. Still a wonderful product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Extremely imprecise drawers I love this piece aesthetically, and it is sturdy and holds a lot of clothes. However, I am on my third dresser (returned first two) and the drawers still don't close properly and the faces of the drawers are not flush with one another. Maybe that's part of the beauty of the natural wood, but I think it's just poor craftsmanship, and I expect more for $750. The faces should be the same thickness so that they are flush, and the drawers should close all the way and stay closed on both sides. I will say that I had no hassle with the return process. CB2 has been great to work with. Wish the product was made better. Not sure if I will keep it. Every time I look at it, I focus on the imperfections.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had actually wanted the Junction low dresser, but in my very small bedroom, it simply wouldn't have fit lengthwise. Not to worry. The tall chest has very deep drawers, which mean you can still stock it full of clothing. I had been wary of the chemical smell that some other reviewers mentioned, but didn't have any issues with that. This is just a great looking piece of furniture; I've already had people compliment it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great I bought this item two weeks ago and it was delivered and placed right in the home. The piece looks wonderful in the room and the drawers are extra roomy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love the junction series I've been so happy with my Junction low dresser, that I felt it was only right to invest in its tall chest counterpart. Like the dresser, the chest is beautifully designed, influenced by mid-century style. Also important to me is that the drawers glide in and out smoothly. I hope CB2 adds more pieces to the Junction collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! I love this chest. It has a natural rustic feel, yet meshes with modern pieces so well. I purchased it to coordinate with the gunmetal bed and Audrey nightstands. It is the perfect match for these pieces. The drawers are deep, hold so many pieces of clothing and glide in and out. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional Yet Beautiful Another great CB2 purchase! The dresser is beautiful - it manages to look rustic yet modern at the same time. The drawers are deep so they hold a fair amount. I only wish this piece was either a few inches wider or higher so it would accommodate a little more (you can fit 2 1/2 piles of clothes across in each drawer - if it was a little wider you could easily fit 3 across which is why I dinged this one star). To some of the other reviewers point about it tipping over: I wouldn't place anything too heavy on top without first attaching it to the wall. It's sturdy and solid wood but not sure it wouldn't tip over with a drawer open. Also, I didn't notice a chemical smell that others did, so either I lucked out or CB2 fixed the issue (and I ordered both the tall and low Junction dressers and found this to be the case for both). All in all a beautiful piece of furniture. Would highly recommend this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Wood but missing a few screws I really love this dresser! It looks beautiful in my apartment and has a ton of storage. However, the drawer's tracking system seem to have come installed without stoppers installed on the left side which makes the drawers not open evenly and it tends to make the dresser a little unstable, when in use.Overall Beautiful, but mine has a few "screws loose".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Durable This is a great piece for a bedroom. Its drawers are very deep and spacious. The wood is beautiful and contrasts great with any room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good look but need some airing I've had the chest for 3 weeks now. The delivery is fast and professional. The dresser is beautifully designed and is even better in real. One small defect is one drawer front panel is not 100% level. I guess it's due to the wood materiel's natural character. I'm not too concerned about if all the lines are completely in parallel. One thing I do believe CB2 needs to improve is to air the dresser before shipping. The smell is strong and I wasn't able to sleep at night. My solution was to put the dresser in living room for two weeks and now the chemical smell is gone. So it would be an easy fix for CB2 with all the professional airing equipment even if the customer will receive it a few days later.
