great dresser, but terrible smell
I would be very happy with this dresser in terms of style , size and capacity, but unfortunately it is still giving off a chemical smell after several months.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
I absolutely love the aesthetic of this piece. The two tone wood is a great addition to the room and adds alot of visual interest. The narrow legs give it a kind of floating appearance that I love. The piece is very well constructed and extremely spacious inside of the each of the 4 drawers. Definitely worth the investment.
Cons:
I have to agree with the previous reviewer. The tip risk for this dresser is high. Make sure to use the anti-tip hardware!! With more than one drawer open, it can fall forward in a matter of seconds.
I'm also not sure whether it was the wood stain or some kind of wood treatment that was used in the construction, but there is a strong and extremely unpleasant chemical smell. I've tried furniture polish, airing it out, wood oil, but it's still there. It's been about 2 weeks, and I haven't been able to use the piece yet because the clothes pick up that chemical odor. First time I've ever had this issue with CB furnishings.

Be Careful if you have little kids....
This is a truly beautiful piece. Be careful if you have little kids as the dresser easily topples over if more than one drawer is open. This happened with my 3 year old this morning and thank god our bed cushioned the fall. Our flat screen tv fell down as well and broke. It needs to be anchored to the wall. A sachet bag with screws was found in one of the top drawer, but no directions were given and there the screws are all different sizes. Again, beautiful piece, but I don't know if I would have purchased it had I known that it NEEDS to be anchored to the wall.

Beauty & Function
The website description is very accurate. The wood finish is absolutely gorgeous. This piece met the qualification of in-home delivery, an absolute plus. The delivery men were efficient and placed the dresser in the intended location. The drawers are deep and have a smooth slide. This piece was purchased for my 10 year old son as a replacement dresser. He was able to put all his clothes from the other dresser into this one with room left over. It will be a piece that will last a lifetime. I ordered this right from the website without seeing it in person first. I am thrilled with the decision to buy this dresser. It is beautiful, stylish and functional.
