overview

tale of two woods. Two-tone, four-zone storage contrasts dual timbers in striking low profile. Four super-deep drawers in bleached acacia wood highlight natural hi/lo tones and beautiful sweeping grain. Light drawer fronts play off dark mango wood frame stained a rich brown. Adding subtle industrial edge, iron drawer handles and feet are sandblasted then antiqued to a raw silver finish. Definitely a statement in the bedroom, but also entertains as a media stand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the look! I bought this dresser almost a year ago. The first one arrive damaged and CB2 was wonderful about replacing it right away. I'm still a little disappointed that the top left drawer won't close all the way on one side. I also bought the tall chest; no complaints! The other reviews are correct about an oily smell. It took a few months for it to go away. They both look beautiful!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece! I've had this for a week now and it's a truly lovely piece. The contrast of the two woods is what makes it standout. Everyone that's seen it likes it. I also like how deep the drawers are. You may want to check it out in store though because it's certainly low. But that's the reason I got it. My bedroom has low ceilings so this helps the space seem bigger. Highly recommended! Also I ordered a Drommen Bed for the same room. It's not here yet so can't say how it will go together but I'm super psyched for my room to look fantabulous!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely dresser I purchased this dresser to use as a TV stand. I was hesitant to order such a large piece without seeing it in person, but I am pleased with my purchase. The first dresser that arrived had a crack in the side panel, but the exchange process was fast and easy. I'm actually quite surprised at how much I'm able to fit in the drawers (books and media, mostly). The wood tone is gorgeous. I appreciate that each row of drawers was cut from two pieces of wood and the front panels are aligned so that the wood grain continues naturally across the drawers. My only small complaint is that the drawers are not perfectly flush with the rest of the dresser, but this is a minor flaw. I also had to air my drawers for a few days due to the smell, but it did dissipate over time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Delicate balance The dresser was delivered yesterday and we love the look and feel of it. Extremely good use of internal space, much more storage then similar objects. Beautiful piece. The caution is the weight (extremely heavy), the tendency of the drawers to inch open and the disturbing tendency for the piece to tip over when more then one drawer is open. Will probably keep but will put a couple of matchbooks (figuratively) under front feet to shift weight back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful wood and great dresser! We purchased the tall and low dressers to complete our bedroom set (matched with the dondra bed and audrey side tables). Delivery was quick and setup was simple. We had a minor issue with one handle on the tall dresser, but it was resolved with a call to customer service and an exchange took place within a week. After 6 months we still love the dressers (no issues here!). The mix of woods is lovely and the depth of the drawers is great. We experienced a bit of off gassing however that was expected. Much like our memory foam mattress, the scent didn't last long. If you've been thinking about getting these dressers - do it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece I had been religiously going in the store admiring this piece for months. I was looking for something long, low and narrow to put in my bedroom, but was having trouble finding anything to meet my needs. The junction dresser was such a beautiful piece but I was concerned about the depth being to much for my small room. Well, after much pondering, I went ahead and bit the bullet. I ordered it onlin e and it arrived in 10 days. The delivery men placed it in my bedroom already assembled. No labor necessary. Upon arrival, I scanned it thoroughly. It looked similar to the one I saw in the store, but less of the bleached wood. I also noticed that the luster seemed a bit less than the floor model. I solved this by applying a wood oil, which did the trick.... Beautifully! The smell was woodsy but not offensive and the drawers themselves were super deep and quiet. The depth I was concerned about actually worked out well. The low profile really fits well in the space and I am loving every minute of it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from beatiful dresser This is a beautiful dresser and would definitely recommend it. The only negative is that one of the drawers doesn't close quite all the way (barely). On a side note, the delivery guys were quick and efficient. Everything went smoothly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great quality and look! My sister bought this for my daughter and I am in love with it. Everything about it. The color and quality fits perfect in any decor style. Modern and sleek. The drawers are big and the use of this dresser is versatile. I am buying anothe one in the tall for my teenage son. When he goes to college, I will use it as a media stand or in my living room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent dresser!! The dresser has a low profile and feels very sturdy. The two tone wood looks good and gives it a rustic feel. The drawers are very spacious and allow for good amount of storage. I'd highly recommend using the anti-tipping hardware provided with the dresser. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So solid and pretty This is another great piece of furniture from CB2 that I absolutely loved. It's pretty heavy and solid, and the drawers slide very easily (Some of the other brands I saw had the same rustic look, but the drawers seemed a bit sketchy -- not this one though!). It's much bigger in person, so I'd recommend going to the store and actually checking it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Dresser Great design, quality wood/components. Very heavy and solid. My only complaint is that there is a very strong smell to the drawers. I've had it for about a year now and there is still some smell to it. Nothing bad but if you do leave clothes in there for awhile without wearing/washing them they'll start to smell like the wood as well. Still a great dresser though.
